One of the worst hotels booked in the entire Portugal itinerary. Service: 1) There is always only one person at the front desk, checkin/checkout, and you have to wait in a long line to ask anything, and one of the waitresses wearing glasses has a very bad attitude. 2) We arrived at such a big hotel after a long drive, and it was the off-season in the off-season, and it was said that the room was not ready, and we had to check in after 3 o'clock. Facilities: The hotel facilities are old, and the sea view room I booked required a high floor, but it was still on the 3rd floor, with a side sea view, so I didn't bother to queue up at the front desk to argue. Catering: Breakfast can't be worse, every ingredient seems to tell you that I want to save money by cutting cost. Ctrip should not cooperate with this kind of hotel!

Great location, super clean, large room with great view, good facilities in hotel, enjoyed the hotel cafe, spa lovely, spa pool water was a bit cold but staff were super helpful and kind. Breakfast is brilliant, plentiful with a great range and attentive staff. Reasonably priced for what you get.

It was the best holiday I ever had, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable, a great view and facilities were great. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the Marina where you find good food,drinks and ice cream. The hotel had activities every night organized to suit all ages, they had an amazing vibe and their cheerfulness was contagious, I will be coming back every year.

It was a very nice experience even though we hadn’t planned to end up in this hotel, as we had a cancellation flight, but since we arrived at 6am, the guy in the reception was very kind and fast, the man who make the omelettes was so kind, and those animation guys are amazing, Michelin made us feel like a family all the time, I approached to them to ask for some food recommendations around, and she and Manuel didn’t hesitate to advising us, and my favourite activity with them was walking, well, also we had a good night, they let us participate and played the music we requested too. They also dressed in Mexican costumes and that was very beautiful for us who are Mexican.

Such lovely people. So much rhythm and wonderful dancing. Different show ever night. In Villa Gale hotel Villamoura. Portugal. Instructions in the dances as well. Dancers: Ted, Angela, Manuel, isa and Michelline Do come on down shouldn’t be missed.

We loved our stay at Ampalias everything was great. We also love Teddy bear and Manwel, great animation team. Hotel is very clean, but probably in need of a re fit.. but staff were great and restaurant breakfast was good too. All in all a great holiday and we will be back soon Thank you
