"Hotel in need of some renovations, you can hear the noise in the rooms, they are cold, the indoor pool is terrible, the water is cold and super small. Breakfast could be better for a 4 star hotel. The staff were very friendly."

"I liked the accommodation, the size of the room, clean linen and towels, a large shower, good pressure of hot and cold water, music on TV, a large swimming pool. Breakfast is quite good, dinner too, no frills, but there is something to eat, there is fruit (pineapple, melon, watermelon and oranges), breakfast costs 7.5; dinner with a small bottle of wine cost me 25 euros. The reception staff is very attentive, they allowed me to change the date of breakfast and helped with the train schedule. The room was spacious and had a balcony."

Our place is close to the beach, it's a 10-minute walk to the bottom of the street and across the dunes. The closest beach (Praia da Lota) is one of the least crowded in the region, and has the warmest weather. There are two beach restaurant/bars, parasol and beach bed areas, and pedalos/jet skis for hire. You'll love it because of the calm neighborhood, the weather, and the tranquility of Cacela Velha. Our stay at the Bordoy Grand House Algarve was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely personal — every staff member made us feel completely at home, without being overbearing.
The hotel itself is stunning. It’s beautifully restored with vintage charm and elegant touches throughout. We loved the rooftop pool and bar area — the perfect place to unwind with views over the Guadiana River. The location is ideal too, just a short stroll from the marina and town square.
One of the highlights was the food. Breakfast was a delight — fresh, high-quality, and served in a peaceful setting. We also had dinner at the Grand Salon Restaurant and it was incredible — a fine dining experience with local flair and beautifully presented dishes.
The little touches made all the difference — from the turn-down service to the thoughtfully curated interiors. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning our return.

GGuest UserA bathroom with a bathtub was planned. When checking in, due to illness, a request was made for a room with a shower, which was immediately granted. All staff are very accommodating and friendly. Very comfortable and large bed. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Despite having a walking disability, the pool and beach are easily accessible.
Would book again immediately.

The beach is a luxury to go through the pool and have a long walk of wood over the sand without having to go down to the sand, drink a coffee or eat in any of the chiringuits. Relaxed environment to be with the family and comfort for the elderly on the tours.

We were happy.
I don't know how it will be in summer, but it's our escape from the favorite work in Badajoz.

BBronsteinHotel liegt im Zentrum von Monte Gordo und hat, soweit erkennbar, keine eigenen Parkplätze. Es gibt allerdings gegenüber ein paar öffentliche. Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war OK. Nicht so gut war der lösliche Kaffee. Vollmilchjoghurt habe ich nicht entdeckt, Brot einfache Aufbackware.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. The interior views of the pool are not very pleasant. And the bathroom is very old. No gel and champagne, only hand soap pills
