Just played this course a package that included tapas - from start to finish the experience was fantastic beautiful challenging golf course the friendliest most helpful staff I have ever encountered and to top it off the tapas were awesome and so much food we couldn’t face going out for dinner

Playing golf with FGC association, in a villa. Villa is great, cleaned every day, pool great, fridge and freezer. Breakfast great, all kitchen staff friendly and food good. Transfer to and from villa great. Inside main building is impressive with great views. Golf course monte Rei championship course is well maintained, challenging is one word, much sand and water are other words. Either way a great course, 2 courses to play, sun coming out. What more can I say.

We stayed in one of the luxurious golf resort residences which had a fabulous view over the golf course. The apartment was spacious, well laid out and very comfortable. We had breakfast in the clubhouse every day which was delicious. A fabulous choice and all freshly prepared. The staff without exception were all extremely attentive and very friendly- the perfect combination. We played a couple of rounds on the course which is stunning ! It is a wonderful lay out in a beautiful setting. Each of the holes is different and the course was in immaculate condition. Again every member of staff we were in contact with was extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Throughout the resort the staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience.It is one of the most beautiful places we have played and stayed.

After reading some of the negative comments about the state of the course in recent weeks we didn’t have high expectations, we played in early October and found the course, greens and the staff all all great, we have no complaints and look forward to playing again in the future.

Another secret I’d like to keep to myself but my first visit to this oasis of luxury has to be complemented. The resort is beautifully presented with incredibly friendly helpful staff, It felt like I had the place to myself. The golf suites along the edge of the course are 6 star. I stayed in 822 and if you want a spectacular view this one is great. My three nights included two rounds of golf and use of the practice facility which was incredible value for money. The course is a Jack Nicklaus master piece with a wonderful selection of varied holes and a handful of spectacular par 3’s The course has suffered terribly from the drought in past years and there are one or two dry spots. However it looks like it’s on the mend and certainly didn’t affect my enjoyment. I will say there are multiple tees on each hole and my tip is to play from the one that suits your handicap. Neil is the head golf professional and did wonders for my aging game with just two hours coaching, he will advise you which tees will enhance your enjoyment. I really can’t say enough about this place and I’ll be heading back soon with my wife.

Played golf there today. A spectacular layout, each hole is isolated from the others. The greens are in perfect shape. The fairways are good but recovering from a recent water problem but generally looked great. We played preferred lies so the fairway condition was not an issue. . We liked it so much after the morning round that we asked to play again and they gave us a deeply discounted rate for the 2nd round. Bring all your golf shots for this one, you will enjoy it.
