"The room was very spacious, and both the kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped and very convenient to use. Its location is excellent: a supermarket and a Black Pizza restaurant are directly across the street, a black sand beach is right in front, and a charming red-roofed chapel sits just behind. The check-in and check-out process was entirely self-service. Honestly, it was absolutely faultless."
"This was an amazing stay! Had a fabulous view of the mountains, sea and the church. Everyone was respectful of the space, with clean kitchen and bathrooms. It was very quiet at night and the rooms were immaculate and super comfortable to stay in. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst on your ring road itinerary :)"
"This hotel in Vic has a very good location, near the black sand beach. We chased the northern lights that night. However, this hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a public kitchen where you can cook your own meals."
"This was my second stay at BBS, and the overall experience was still great. The room is spacious, equipped for cooking with kitchenware, and the bathroom is also a good size.
One thing to note is that the shower in the bathroom is doorless, so water easily splashes out onto the floor. Additionally, the bathroom door doesn't have a tight seal at the bottom, which can lead to water spreading.
The location is excellent, close to Black Sand Beach, and Vik is less than a 10-minute drive away. The surrounding scenery is beautiful."
"A great place for a night, very near to Vik. The cottage has almost everything. That’s a good place for northern light, but unfortunately we cannot catch the northern lights."
"The room is spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet warm design. Opening the window, I was greeted by the magnificent Icelandic mountain scenery. The morning mist and sunlight intertwined, creating a scene from a painting. At night, the silence was complete, with the sound of the wind and the whisper of a distant waterfall. Every moment was a perfect opportunity to completely relax, immerse in the purest tranquility and beauty of nature, and truly escape from the hustle and bustle of life."
"The room was all right: spacious & comfortable mattress. The view from the room was not just the best (parking & houses in drums).
The Guesthouse has two bathrooms, one mostly free. The kitchen and the ”habitat area” were very large and you could easily prepare dinner at six (3 rooms) at the same time without disturbing each other.
A stay in this Guesthouse would I recommend at any time."
"The place gave off a very country club kind of vibe, the room was well decorated, enough space to open 2 large luggages and still have some space to walk.
The bed was comfortable for the night’s rest too and the breakfast though not many options but all were delicious👍🏼
The nearest town from this accommodation was a 10-15mins drive, hence the location had a high score.
This will be my to go to accommodation when I visit Iceland again!"
