We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Hotel Raito in vietri sul Mare! The hotel has a great pool, a well maintained garden and a restaurant where we used our breakfast where nothing was missing. Our room had a beautiful view over the Gulf of Salerno, both daytime and nighttime. We were very glad with this service! Beside this service, the staff of the desk, in the restaurant and near the pool were very friendly and willingly help us when we asked for it. We used the penddle bus a couple of times and that was an extra service to go to the city or to the beach of Vietri. We highly recommend this hotel!

Just arrived home from this hotel. As a disabled guest (wheelchair user) the hotel isn't accessible to reception. There is a wooden ramp that takes you through a side door but you cannot get to the reception desk. If you are alone and in a wheelchair you cannot reach the buzzer and the ramp is not always down and he door is locked However once in, the lifts take you everywhere you need to go. On the face of it the hotel is beautiful. But. We asked for an accessible room. We were allocated two rooms the first 432 which wasn't accessible. But was small and had a great view. The second across the corridor was accessible. No view. When you opened the window you were faced with a pitch black space with what I think was a water tank. The room smelt. The shower room was not very good. The seat was rusted and stuck at an angle so you couldn't sit and it forced you out of the shower tray. Rust fell each time you showered into the tray. The shower head had a mind of its own as did the control. The rooms on the 4th floor are old and in desperate need of attention. Missing fittings dirty/ stained lamp shades and some lights didn't work. No extractor fan The upper rooms were beautiful. Most common areas were beautiful but in the restaurant lots of stains and damage on the ceiling. Breakfast was good but the hot food was cold. The staff exemplary. There was no sign of a pool. But a great gym but a little snug and if you ate tall you don't have much head room next to the window on the equipment. We went down in the lift to the beach. This was awful. An open construction site which has been the same since 2017 is a UK health and safety nightmare. A table saw rusting away. Power cables strewn across the ground nails sticking up and a peice of wood laid across the blade. No access to the beach safely and none for me due to the above. Be careful if you buy drinks in the bar. Very expensive €15 for gin and tonic. €4.50 for a cup of tea. Had several occasions to return tea due to fishy smell and taste. Maintenance hadn't repaired it during our stay. But another hot water tap was fine. The hotel is next to the port which is busy and not ideal if you don't sleep well.

At the high-speed entrance and exit, go to Positano 42 kilometers, Pompeii 18 kilometers, Naples 36 kilometers, which is a location that deviates from the center but extends in all directions. The room is large, opposite the mountain view, the parking lot is large and free, much more cost-effective than living in the city or scenic spot. There are two Cafes around, but there are two super warehouse supermarkets. It is estimated that people in Shilibaxiang will come to the goods. A few more steps, there is a special chicken shop, the boss is enthusiastic, the dishes are placed at the counter, the language is not good.

We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of October/November time. There had been lots of changes with air travel but the hotel accommodated everything for us. We had a suite for the full 10 nights which we can recommend, very comfortable and enough space to move around in when staying for a while. The balcony overlooked the valleys and hills in the distance, and the hotel gardens which are spacious and well kept. Rooms were serviced when requested, and the minibar/fridge was a welcome addition to our comfort. We had a hire car which we were able to park securely at the bottom of the hill from the hotel, less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a little shop you can pop into on the way to/from the car park which is run by a charming man who will provide sandwiches, lunch items, etc if you want them, as well as other everyday items. Breakfast at the hotel is included, and of a high standard. The restaurant serves high quality food from a small but acceptable menu, and as we were staying for a while we found them very accommodating for making things for us that weren’t on the menu, or changing menu items to our taste (eg no nuts, etc). The food appeared fresh and was cooked and served with care and with friendly and professional service. The chef regularly sent us free appetisers of a high quality too. We were even treated to some wine lessons and recommendations by our knowledgeable host, which was really nice and welcomed by us. The bar was well stocked, and snacks were served with our aperitif every time, sometimes hot from the kitchen and other times nibbles from the local area. We went to a local restaurant (La Foce) a few times too for a bit of variety, and had no problems there or with the hotel doing this. The other restaurant is about 15/20 mins walk away up hill, but downhill coming back! It seems hotel guests often go there, and they looked after us very well too. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us some welcome suggestions for things to do, including providing info on the best way to travel the fairly nearby Amalfi Coast by ferry. We had a really nice stay and were able to really relax after the trials and tribulations of the previous year and a half due to covid. We felt safe at this hotel too, and they were well aware of safety measures to reduce any risks for guests and staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend this venue for a relaxing stay with access to the local area. We found it useful to have a car, although there is a regular local bus service too for guests who want to use public transport. This makes the hotel more accessible to all guests even though it is high up on a hill, the views are breathtaking though and make up for needing to travel to get to other areas. It was a wonderful base for us and we will definitely try to go back again. All credit to a wonderful location and to the amazing staff who were always willing to go that extra mile to care for us. Beside the Salerno station there is a reality that no one would think so positive for a so-called hotel for a pass ... Efficient, affordable, available, professional and careful reception to any request and small particular of demanding customers like me ...excellent and really empathically right. Very clean, new, efficient and comfortable rooms, every request completed, showers and the rest of the bathroom especially at the height. Super comfortable location and for the station almost next to and to be almost in the center with course Vittorio Emanuele at a step as well as the historic center. There is a very good and varied breakfast. Absolutely positive experience to be repeated ... compliments to all staff.. deserve excellentness
