Dimora Cummà Marì

Edit: this was the second year in a row we've stayed with Stefano and Valentina at Dimora Cumma Mari. We love the property, we loved our host and hostess, and Vieste is a very special, relaxing place. What follows our review from our first stay. I'd change nothing in what I've written, but would just emphasize again how special it was. Vieste is an absolutely enchanting town on the eastern end of the Gargano peninsula. Dimora Cumma Mari added to our enchantment. The B & B sits literally steps outside the entrance to the old city, so it’s in an absolutely perfect location. The couple running the B & B—Stefano and Valentina—are extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect hosts. The rooms are limited in number: 6 in total. They’re comfortable, spacious, well-appointed and modern; they clearly put a great deal of thought into the original renovation. We stayed in the Marina Deluxe Suite, which featured a lovely view towards the faro, two balconies and a kitchenette. It was delightful. Breakfast was on an interior patio and featured a lovely Mediterranean breakfast buffet. They also have a private terrace on the roof with killer views. Stefano and Valentina are eager to provide their insights on what to see and do, both in Vieste and on the Gargano peninsula (and they send you their own customized guide when you arrive). Given their proximity to the old town, on-site parking is extremely limited, but the hosts will help you figure out parking. I can’t say enough good things about this property or the hosts. We will be returning!

An amazing stay in a beautiful property! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, the room was lovely with a private terrace and there was a lovely shady garden to sit in. Breakfast was largely freshly baked by the hosts and was delicious. Would highly recommend this place to stay in lovely Vieste

My sister and I spent a couple of nights here on our Italian road trip and it was by far our favorite accommodations of our trip- we wished we could have stayed longer! It was an oasis of calm and peace on a very busy trip. The room (and bathroom too) was so clean, spacious and comfortable, and we even had 2 different private outdoor spaces for us to use and 2 communal outdoor spaces. Valentina and Stefano are wonderful, so welcoming and accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful. As vegans, we had no problem at breakfast finding plenty to eat. They even had some vegan cake for us. The hotel is in such a great part of Vieste with lots around to do and see. Would love to return if I ever find myself in Vieste again!

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. We had an amazing time. Stefano and Valentina are amazing hosts. They are so helpful and very passionate about their work and the area. They gave us great info about Vieste and the Gargano area and they were very clear in their tips about what to do. We stayed in the deluxe double room with a sea view. It gave fabulous views and was a lovely room. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent a couple of nights at this beautiful unit-it is a beautifully renovated old building -spacious,comfy beds,good air conditioning, great period features combined with all modern convienences, fabulous water/lighthouse views from the small balcony! Stefano and Valentino were most gracious hosts who went over and above their roles to make sure we were looked after in every way!! I recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.Bravo and thank you to Stefano and Valentino!!

We loved our stay and recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting Vieste. The couple who manage it takes great care of the property and guests. Our room, which included a nice kitchen, was spacious, quiet, well-appointed, and absolutely spotless. The bed was comfortable. On top of all that, they provided an excellent patio breakfast for us each morning and offered a wide variety of tasty homemade food options, plus great coffee.
