Relais la Pretura

The pictures are fair, the hotel is conveniently located at the foot of the old town, and you can wander the whole place by foot. We took a double room with sea view. The room was nice and clean. Zero luxury. Beds OK. Small shower box but excellent shower. The wi-fi did not work in the master bedroom. We called the manager, and by the way he said he was going to call maintenance “tomorrow” we clearly understood he was aware for the problem, but unwilling to tackle it. Breakfast was fair, overall a good experience. Just be careful because the hotel is on the upper floor of a building so you have quite a steep staircase to go up. No parking on the premises.

Relais La Pretura is a small hotel, so if you're looking for big hotel facilities - 24hr Reception, Room Service, Laundry, etc, find somewhere else. If you don't need those, the rooms are comfortable and a decent size. The breakfast buffet is served on the roof terrace, with good views of the town. And best of all, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful (thanks Martino!), even managing to strong-arm some tickets for us on a sold-out boat cruise. The restaurant recommendations were also spot-on. Being small (and occupying the upper floors of the building) also meant we had difficulty finding the place. We knew where the hotel should be, but we drove past the location twice without seeing anything at ground level. It was only when we looked up that we saw the name at the top of the building! Although you can't park outside the hotel overnight (there is a paying car park about 10 minutes walk away), you can stop long enough to load/unload luggage. There are public squares either side of the hotel with bars/restaurants, so if you are an early/light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs - though it didn't really bother us.

Fantastic stay on a lovely B&B. Beatyfull place and very nice location in the middle of Vieste - close to the sea and restaurants and shops. The Rooms are just fine and clean and the is a nice view and also a small fridge for you to use to our own things. The staffs are so nice and friendly and very helpfull. Lovely breakfast on the terrace in the morning. We recomend it very much!!!!! Just be aware: there are only access to the first floor by stairs no elevator

Property was very central in Vieste, lovely room with two seperate bedroom sections - ideal for a mother and adult daughter!

Our stay at Relais laPetura was excellent! Martino Bua the owner was very friendly and gave us great tips on restaurants and city activities. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was really tasty and served on the terrace with great city and sea views. Roof deck is specious with Jacuzzi and recliners for sun bathing .

Lovely B&B with a stupendous terrace overlooking the historic center, Adriatic Sea and into the new sections. Room soundproof, tranquil and well equipped. Excellent service and breakfast delicious, with all sorts of sweets, hearty cereals, breads, fruits and meats. Staff very helpful and we would definitely return!
