The hotel is in a great location, just on the beach. Our room (#14) had a perfect view of the beach. The hotel has quite recently been refurbished, so quite comfortable. There's even an elevator. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an "hotel-only" parking in front, but it has space for about 5 cars. Just across the street is a larger ***** parking space. On the negative side: Very few power plugs accessible in the room, it takes about 5 minutes for hot water to arrive, breakfast is basic (which is strange for so many British tourists, that they don't do eggs & bacon, sausage), and the downstairs bar (we didn't try the restaurant), only serves basic premade food, until later at night a chef will come and cook food.... If you're counting on using internet, forget it. It's very slow and you'll need to log on each time you power on your device. Cell phone signal is minimum as well.

We stopped for a lunch at the cafe (not the restaurant which is above.). It was good value and the staff were welcoming cheerful and automatically spoke English. We were impressed to see the staff hand polishing/treating all the cutlery with vinegar to ensure it was properly clean. Won’t see that very often. Beautiful view of Omaha Beach.

Stopped off for a drink while we were walking along the length of Omaha beach. It was hot and we needed a drink. We sat down at an outside table and waited to be served…and we waited…and waited…and waited. Nothing. I went inside and said hello to a waitress and that we were outside and went back and sat down. We then waited…and waited…and guess what?! We waited…nothing. Eventually we got up and left. I’m surprised they have any customers at all. Appalling. Don’t bother.

Recommend for hotel and food Amazing room overlooks Omaha beach. Restaurant serves great food overlooking beach. We had Amuse bouche salmon mousse Fois gras ravioli in white cream sauce Rumpsteak with white asparagus carrots and whipped potatoes Chicken Breast stuffed with apples with same sides. Basil ice cream on graham cracker dust and Breton butter cookie with Normandy cream mousseline topped with strawberries, apple, kiwi and raspberries embellished raspberry coulis for dressy. Each course was excellent!! Will add breakfast review tomorrow. Highly recommended.

Charming hotel on a superb spot near the beach. The place could use some renovation in the near future but the terrace and the rooms with stunning view on the sunset makes it all worthwhile. Also good to have free parking and friendly, helpful staff

‼️‼️TRÉS IMPORTANT S'IL VOUS PLAÎT À LIRE PAR FOND‼️‼️ En fait, je ne suis pas étonné que ce restaurant ait de mauvaises critiques. Quand on engage des collaborateurs et qu'on ne les paie pas comme ils le devraient. Je ne suis pas étonné que les employés s'en prennent aux clients. Faites vraiment attention à l'endroit où vous aimez aller, car cet hôtel et ce restaurant vous soutirent de l'argent et ne paient même pas leurs employés comme ils le devraient. Les employés se voient promettre un salaire très élevé et n'en reçoivent même pas la moitié.

Situation exceptionnelle sur la plage d’Omaha, parfaite pour la visite de plusieurs sites dédiés au débarquement de Normandie (plusieurs musées, pointe du Hoc, cimetière américain) Nous avons pu profiter d’une très belle chambre, spacieuse, très propre, avec vue sur la plage. Un restaurant et une brasserie sont situés dans le bâtiment de l’hôtel. Nous avons très bien diné dans chacun d’eux. L’accueil a été sympathique, et l’Hôtel accepte les animaux de compagnie sans supplément. Le seul bémol concerne le WIFI, fluctuant. Nous recommandons tout à fait cet hôtel.
