Finca Victoria

Very beautiful and thoughtfully-designed property both as an Ayurvedic retreat center and as a holistic eco-boutique hotel. The Yoga Shala space is magnificent, surrounded by lush gardens and nestled off to the side of the property for a quiet and blissful experience. The food was incredible - I only wished they'd offered lunch and dinner options as well! The accommodations range from upscale rustic "glamping" (the tree houses) to well-appointed homes. The outdoor kitchens are fun and accommodating with everything you might need to prepare a small meal. The outdoor showers are so much fun - but be sure to bring shower sandals!

From the moment I made the reservation, the service was exceptional—they always responded to my questions and helped me with any information I needed. The place is beautiful. When we arrived, they gave us a tour of the property and I loved every corner of the space. My room was gorgeous, with everything you need to stay for days. The nighttime sounds were wild with all the nature around us. The common pool area was beautiful, with delicious coffee and tea, and plant-based milks that I loved. And to top it all off, the yoga class with Claudia was magical, and breakfast not only looked beautiful, it tasted amazing! I highly recommend it, Finca Victoria truly made my stay in Vieques unforgettable.

Enjoyed doing yoga every morning in the beautiful shala. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly! Our treehouse was amazing and so fun! I felt as though I was with nature so many gorgeous plants and trees all around the property. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I only hesitate to rate this property 5 stars because I don’t want this gem being stolen! We stayed here for 2 nights in March with 2 adults and 2 teens- the hotel is 18y+, but I didn’t see that until after I booked then I reached out to get approval for the kids to be there. While everyone was accommodating for the kids, the restorative/relaxed vibe was definitely geared towards adults. Property is centrally located on the island with easy access to the airport and ferry terminal. Also close by were several restaurants, convenience store (green store), Maritza’s car rental, wonderful beaches (we went to playa negra and sun bay beach), as well as a bio bay tour. Property is relatively small with I think only 11 guest houses. And the design of the foliage makes everything feel very private/intimate. We stayed in Mechelle’s cabin with 2 king beds with each room having a separate entrance and bathroom, ideal for 2-4 people. Bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, so be aware if you have mobility issues. Bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever had! ACs are in the bedrooms and keep a good job of keeping the space cool. Bathrooms are technically outdoor, but enclosed well. Only complaint is that hot water is a bit finnicky in the shower. Rooms are well equipped with fridge, beach towels/mats, soft side cooler, patio has a well stocked kitchen. Vegan breakfast offered complimentary daily. We only got to enjoy once but it was delicious! Yoga is daily and the space and practice were amazing! Something that struck me repeatedly was how much thought and attention detail was needed to create this special place- the decor, the ingredients in the food, the views, the flora, I could go on and on! As soon as we were wrapping up this trip, I started looking at other properties that Sylvia, the owner has been involved with. I would 100% come back here and leave the kids at home.

We really liked Finca Victoria. It is Ayurvedic but fairly luxurious. All rooms are unique and there are a maximum of about 20 persons in wine whole place. They only serve breakfast, which is gourmet vegetarian - truly wonderful however. There is also a central pavilion where you can grab beer or wine and sign for it to your room at any hour. But this is not a typical hotel room experience. Also, you should rent a car or golf cart if going as it is relatively far from other places you might want to go.
