Hotels near Lao Star 2001 in Vientiane

Location was very good as it is next to two shopping malls. There are a Parkson Supermarket, cafes, eateries bank to name a few essential for foreigners though there are nothing much for retail. The center bus terminal is a stone throw away where one can travel to and from the airport, within the town center and also cross the Thailand-Laos border to as far as Bangkok.

Check in date : 25th August 2022. Check out date : 26th August 2022. Location : The hotel is conveniently located right at the heart of Vientiane. It is within walking distance to the Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane and there are nice restaurants around. The junction at the end of the road has a convenience store. We booked LOCA car from the airport and it just costs 100,000 LAK. The area is not too busy but it is just near to the main the main road. Within walking distance, tourists can walk to Sisaket and Night Market. But we opt out for the motorcycle. Reception : The recep area is small but nicely decorated with wooden furniture. We arrived around 8am and the well spoken English receptionist welcomed us warmly. She also direct us to the luggage area and we got to keep our luggage before check in time. Before I depart from my home country, I texted the owner about motorcycle rental. The owner kindly replied me and arranged for us the motorcycle rental that only costs 50,000 LAK per day (which is super cheap). When we arrived, the motorcycle was ready. All in all, I felt welcome in the hotel. Room : My room is in the second floor. It has an amazing courtyard view. The room is spacious, the bathroom is big and clean. The AC works very well. The bed are large and comfy. An electric kettle was provided and 2 mineral waters are there for us. The towels are fresh and the wardrobe is big enough for us to store our rucksacks. Around the hotel : It is a very small but well run hotel. The hotel is clean and spotless. The courtyard is very amazing and the resting area gives a very tranquil vibe. There is a limited space motorcycle parking rental. The hotel also seems very quiet and looks like a very good resting/working place. There are no elevator around so disable people had to reconsider booking here or you can opt for ground floor room right in front of the courtyard. We checked out around 6am the next day so we didnt get to try the breakfast. Satisfaction : We are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for tourists.

Excellent service hotel Located near Lao airport Located in the heart of the city, convenient to travel, all staff are well-behaved, clean bedrooms, beautiful views, very soft beds, like having a good rest. Must book again Next time will recommend friends to book a room here because it's really good.

Location is far from tourist attractions and local restaurant. It is like Chinatown which alot of Chinese restaurant. Not recommended for tourist that looking for local experience. Front Staff is helpful, friendly and informative except the housekeeping (they talked loudly in the corridor while cleaning and shouting) so noisy plus people slamming the door, couple fighting and shouting, construction noise. I can't even sleep well whole stay. Plus things is the amenity is complete, drinking water, comb, tooth brush, hair dryer , shampoo and shower gel.

An older style hotel still our deluxe style room was perfectly adequate with daily servicing with smiling happy staff over the 6 days we were there. The pool on the 2nd floor is good for doing short laps and a small gym with weights and exercise machines. The daily breakfast was good with a great variety happy and efficent staff there led by Ajit a colorful character with a wealth of information we enjoyed many a chat with him. On reception Jer, Khamdy & Khoun were always smiling and helpful, reception manager Annie was lovely and most agreeable to our requests we would stay here again so obviously recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very clean and has a great location. It’s right next to Parkson mall. They also have a shuttle bus to/from the airport for free. It would definitely come back to this hotel in the future and recommend it to anyone. Breakfast is okay, it has room for improvement.

I stayed here for three nights not long ago and I do recommend it. It's walkable to many of the interesting sites in Vientiane - Patuxay, Pra That Luang (if you don't mind a hot hike!), Talat Sao is just around the corner. You can walk down to the waterfront and arounf Frances NgumRd area in about 25-30 minutes. There is a rooftop pool to cool off in. The included breakfast is plentiful and the choice is good. The room I had was lovely. It was huge, with a balcony, large separate shower with bath and toilet in totally separate room off the main sleeping, living area. I had a large sofa at the foot of the bed. I think I must have been given an upgrade! It was very nice, thank you. The staff were very helpful and happy to offer advice. Plenty of tuktuks always at the door, should you need one. All in all, a very nice visit.

Clean accommodation, new, good overall service, WiFi cannot be used, but there are staff who come to help see and fix the air conditioner, very cool, the mattress is not very soft. If people like a tight mattress, they should like the bathroom very good, the water system is good, the breakfast is good, not a lot, but focus on the quality and taste of fresh salad vegetables, not crowded.

Living here is exactly the same as back home. It's quite far from the high-speed rail station, so a taxi costs 300,000. The hotel is all Chinese-speaking, with hotels, SPA, KTV complex, and Chinese entertainment all arranged in one package. It is very close to Sanjiang China Town, and all you can eat when going out is Chinese food.
