Excellent service hotel Located near Lao airport Located in the heart of the city, convenient to travel, all staff are well-behaved, clean bedrooms, beautiful views, very soft beds, like having a good rest. Must book again Next time will recommend friends to book a room here because it's really good.

Free airport pick-up and drop-off, hotel run by Chinese people. When you come out of the airport, you can see Chinese signs all the way. It feels like you are in a county town in China. You can get there in less than 10 minutes. The service was also very good. They called a taxi for us. If we couldn't figure it out, they helped us talk to the driver. There is a place to exchange tickets in the hotel, which is very convenient, and the rooms are also good.

Good business hotel, ok location. But you need a transportation to move around as the hotel transportation is higher than the local standard. No Grubhub nor Uber. Nice spacious room w a shower (trip.com stare “no private bath” I was worried but it meant “no bath tub”. Nice pool on the 5th floor w jets (staff will start when any guests are in the pool”. Very helpful staff, nice breakfast. Cons are: if you take a shower on 5th, entire floor will be wet ….. design error I guess.

The room is large and very clean. There are mainly European and American people staying there. The terrace bar on the top floor is great at night, with dinner and live music. The only drawback is that the slippers in the room are clip-on slippers, which are not very comfortable. Breakfast is a set menu, the coffee is good, and the dishes include Western, Korean and Chinese dishes, which are delicious. Overall, it's a great experience! You can also see Thailand on the other side of the Mekong River!

It's far away from city centre but with beautiful view of Mekong and free shuttle car to centre. Hotel is huge and rooms are spacious. Staff is kind and professional. Breakfast is not continental style... not even available a cappuccino or espresso coffee.

I’m a big fan of the IBIS Accor Group brand. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, in Armenia, the IBIS Yerevan Center was my home away from home. I stayed there so often that the front desk gave me birthday and Christmas presents. So, you can understand why IBIS has a warm place in my heart. That feelings is the main reason I selected the IBIS Vientiane Nam Phu Hotel. I booked nine days. My first reservation was for two nights, immediately followed by a reservation for another seven. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if the hotel could book my train ticket from Vientiane to Vang Vieng. The answer was yes. The hotel just needed 48 hours notice. Two days before my trip, I returned to the front desk. A photo of my passport was taken. I didn’t need to pay, until the ticket was purchased. I wanted a first class ticket. The hotel had to wait until they actually purchased the ticket to know what to charge me. If first class was all booked, they would need to purchase the cheaper second class ticket. When my first class ticket arrived I was charged 400,000 Baht. That’s twice the cost of the ticket. I was told it was a service charge and that I would have to pay an additional 200,000 Baht for the taxi to the train station. The morning of my departure, the taxi driver picked me up and drove me to the station. I exited the car and paid him the agreed price. He shook his head no. He wanted more money. I gathered my two bags and sat on the curb, as the driver continued to ask for more money. I finally said, “You can take me back to the hotel!” He then called the hotel. After about ten minutes, the driver apologized, got in his car, and drove away. It not that I was taken for 200,000 to 300,000 additional Baht. I’m American. I have enough money to travel to a foreign country and book a hotel room for nine days. I’m a mark! I get that. So, I just paid. I’m disappointed in having to give the Accor Group such a negative rating and the need to warn fellow travelers about the staff at this particular IBIS hotel.

The room is spacious and bright. The furniture is made of mahogany and has a very high-end feel. The room is clean and hygienic. The front desk is polite. The waiters work hard and smile. The service is very satisfactory to the five-star standard. Serve: Shuttle Bus Airport Shuttle:

Excellent hotel, clean, spacious rooms, and fully equipped. The manager provided me with som chai which was very nice indeed. I had a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay. Only snag being a lack to a tennis court at the hotel premises.

A hotel with many international business travellers which is always a good sign. Location is quite good. Breakfast spread is amazing. If you are a non smoker, do ensure u get a non smoking room. I was first assigned a smoking room n asked for a change - the non smoking room is definitely of a newer and cleaner feel. I will not recommend the in room massage - it is a few times higher than street prices and the massage i had was really more of just a rub down with oil, masseuse did not seem to know pressure points at all and she showed up in a company tshirt that said ”hotel laundry services”.

Very nice hotel. A small swimming pool, nice room, but above all VERY friendly and nice staff! Never met such a good hotel staff! The people are just so nice and friendly! Only thing to be desired is that there are too many mosquitoes here, I got bit 10 times. Note: it's 40~70 US dollars at the spot so sometimes it's cheaper than online.
