Henriette Stadthotel Vienna

Location is OK, the subway is very close, very close to the Ferris wheel area. There are restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets around. Breakfast is very good and there are many types. The drinks in the room are charged. The pillows are too collapsed. The price is not cheap.

Stayed here in April 2023 with family. Wasn’t quite a 4 star category hotel as advertised but a good hotel in a very good location. Supermarkets and metro were very close and a 15-20 minute stroll brought you to the centre of town. The room itself was clean and the rain shower was great. The staff were polite and efficient but didn’t go out of their way to provide anything extra in terms of customer service. There was an unexpected heatwave while we were there when the temperatures suddenly soared to the early twenties. The room didn’t have working air conditioning and the window didn’t open, and despite asking the reception to help, they didn’t seem too interested in rectifying the issue, which made for two very uncomfortable nights in a very stuffy room. The bar was overpriced, charging 5 star prices for a powder-mix hot chocolate and a mid level wine. I would rate it 3.5 stars but as that rating is not available I’m choosing 3 stars as usual, because 4 stars on TripAdvisor is ‘very good’ and this hotel does not deserve that rating. It’s fine if you’re looking for a reasonable and central city hotel mainly to sleep in while being out all day. But that’s about it.
Hotel Nestroy Wien

The breakfast is average and tastes good. Bacon and yoghurt are delicious. Very close to the subway station, 5 minutes walk, it is recommended to buy a 7-day ticket for a business trip, you can go to the subway, the room is not small, but the bed is small. It is better to say that the towel rack of the bathroom is heated; it is not acceptable that the front desk and hotel rooms are located on both sides of the road, and navigation may be wrong. There are many supermarkets nearby. The fried ribs of the Italian restaurant near the subway are delicious.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the hotel has a long history, was established in 1600, the hotel service level is high, breakfast is good. There is a Hop on Hop off city tour bus route nearby, and the Metro Sweden Square Station is within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. If you want to drive by yourself, you should pay attention, because the parking space in Vienna is really tight. I happened to have a parking space (26 euros for one night) to stop the car.
Hotel Imlauer Wien

A fantastic experience at the Imlauer Hotel in Vienna. I stayed in one of their standard , courtyard facing rooms which was modern, clean and very comfortable. The wifi was good and the airconditioning worked beautifully in the warm September weather. We were there for 4 days of meetings and used their hotel meeting room, which was set out perfectly and offered everything that we needed. Kudos to their awesome staff, who were friendly, efficient and always willing to help. A special mention to Lauren in reception, who provided us a bunch of restaurant recommendations, all in walking distance, which were all fantastic! She was always friendly and went out if her way to help us with anything that we needed - thank you Lauren! Also Balazs and Mirtin who helped us arrange the meeting venue and made sure we were 100% happy all of the time. The breakfast was great - a good selection and fresh. The hotel was pretty full when we were there but we never struggled for a table or queued too long for food. Pricing for our stay was high, but this is likely because of the large European conference happening in Vienna while we were there. All hotels were the same. I can highly recommend this hotel - clean, good location, tasty breakfast, great staff and comfortable rooms.
