Having good memories of this cozy downtown hotel in Vienna, we returned for two nights last weekend. We were pleased to realize that the hotel kept its high standard, it was impeccably clean and the staff at the reception extremely helpful. Whether it was asking for directions or making reservation for one of the most popular restaurants in Vienna (I was unable to get a table via the internet) we got top notch service at the reception. Sure we will return when we visit Vienna next.

This hotel was also chosen on the basis of the favourable location compared to the city centre and the reasonable price-quality ratio. All together it could do. The neighborhood is clean with enough (take) restaurants nearby. The room was a little smooth and could use some maintenance (e.g. the shower was quickly full of water and very slowly leaving). Bed was OK, head kiss was 0,0 support. No air conditioning but there was a standing ventilator in the room, very careful with these 30+ degrees of heat. The shower itself was OK, so the shower bathroom was not. Wifi worked well. There was hardly staff at the reception that was regularly closed and dark. Therefore it is very important to keep the hotel key right at all times so you can always in it or to avoid having to call the owner, if you have your phone at least at that time. If you don't have a problem, you can really have a problem! I've always gone well but I was very sharp here! Check out was also very easy, just deposit the keys in a box. Not bad at all but not expect luxury in this hotel.

I was in Vienna for a conference from June 1st to 5th and stayed at stayed at Hotel Josehof. The location is excellent, room was comfortable and breakfast buffet was very generous. I would certainly return again. Staff were always helpful and friendly. In the breakfast room I noticed a member of staff that was extremely helpful and kind to a mother with a very young baby. And at reception Anna was extremely good humoured and super helpful.

I really recommend this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff were especially hospitable and went out of their way to help us, e.g., they opened up breakfast for us early when we had to leave ahead of the usual opening time, without us asking! The hotel is very central too, with plenty of things to do within walking distance. Thank you Hotel Zipser for a wonderful stay :)

The room type selected is on the fourth floor and the view is very good. The omelette for breakfast is also very good, you can let the kitchen add what you want. The only downside is that you have to take a flight of stairs to have an elevator. The elevator is the old-fashioned elevator, which is very interesting and design. In addition, don't book the first floor, the room is very tidal and dark. The room with sunshine upstairs is very comfortable
