I recently had the pleasure of staying at Best western plus Amedia Wien, and the experience surpassed my expectations in several aspects: 1. **Accurate Representation:** The room matched the images provided online, offering a comforting sense of reliability and meeting the expectations set by the visuals. 2. **Friendly and Accommodating Staff:** The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Their warmth and helpfulness added a personal touch to the overall experience. 3. **Convenient Location and Transportation Access:** The hotel's location was strategically chosen, providing easy access to transportation hubs. The quality and variety exceeded my expectations, setting a positive tone for each day. In conclusion, my stay at was a memorable and enjoyable experience. Very easy check in progress with pre check in available. The staff were the most friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was delicious and the selection was wide.We enjoyed our stay very much and looking forward to coming back sometime soon.

Nearby the main train station HBF, just a less than 10mins walk distance, but if you call taxi, the car couldn’t drive until in front of the hotel, you’ll have to walk a little bit to reach the road Cozy and kinda quiet room at nighttime because is surrounded local residents houses The room and toilet a bit small for 3 pax, have to prepare extension if you’re in a big group cause the charging socket only 3-4 and not near to the bed But then so far this hotel was good enough

Great location, close to the train station and few hundred meters from the gates to the old city. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet js amazing!

The room is very large, considered very large among other star hotels in Vienna Clean and very satisfied The gym is a bit small and there are no dumbbells The location of the hotel is very good, just downstairs is the subway and bus, four stops to the city center Next to it is the Belvedere Palace. It is very pleasant to go for a run in the morning. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared a running map

Hotel is clean and modern but that is about it. Where to begin. Very few amenities in the rooms. They do not automatically refill shampoo, conditioner, etc. Ihad to phone twice one day and wait for approx 45 minutes for housekeeping to come. When they did, they brought towels (which we did not need) but no shampoo or anything else I had asked for! Regarding Executive lounge… forget it!! Evening “cocktail” service starts at 17:30 and goes until 20:00 when they close.. virtually nothing on offer to eat. See pics. One type of red wine, one white and one rose.. They did have coke and water as well as two bio iced teas but nothing but nuts to eat the entire day….. The pics were taken on Friday Oct 7 at 17:39..9 minutes after opening… not a great selection but they expect people to pay for this!! Money back please!! How about the Concierge.. I wanted some assistance on Saturday with a local restaurant.. it was 15:30 and I was told that there was no-one. The Concierge had gone home!!! On a Saturday when the hotel is packed!! This is so not normal!!! Horrible Management all around.. won’t be coming back to this place anytime soon!! Future guests beware..

My recent hotel stay was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was immaculate, with a breathtaking view of the city skyline, and every amenity I could wish for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering excellent recommendations for dining and local attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a delicious start to my day, and the hotel's central location made exploring the city a breeze. I left with a sense of relaxation and contentment, and I can't wait to return to this wonderful establishment.

The rooms are clean and convenient, large enough for a few days in Vienna. Unfortunately, the bar does not offer snacks and the culinary offer is very viewable in the surrounding area. Breakfast is ok. The nearby train station is practical for curing stays.

After reading reviews of this hotel I was really looking forward to staying here. First impression is like an old office block but it is very trendy inside, welcome was very friendly and a very good first impression. As the location of hotel is quite a walk into town we thought we’d have dinner in hotel. We certainly wished we hadn’t. The waiter was nothing other than rude. We had curry which was bland and just warm with dried out rice. We never received our side order which we asked for twice. Despite the restaurant having only approximately 3 other tables occupied we never received any service, we went to the bar twice to ask for a drink, then ask where our side was which still never came. Waiter just on phone and seemed annoyed when we asked something. When we asked for another drink again at the bar ourselves, we asked what deserts were available to a response of ‘fridge’ and pointed across to the other side of bar. We chose the driest brownie available and wish we hadn’t. When he came with the bill, he informed us twice service not included..which I informed him, we had received near to no service and that what we did receive was awful! He laughed. We paid over €70 for 2 bland chicken curries and a few beers & a brownie. He then forgot the drink we’d ordered at the bar so when I went up he then said he had no change (probably because I’d not tipped the awful service previously). How can you not have change from a €10 note? So after waiting for a minute whilst he kept looking in the same wallet I told him to keep the €5 euro change. It left a very bad impression of the hotel on our first night in Vienna after travelling from two other cities and hotels that offered impeccable service. Such a shame when the rest of the staff seemed so customer focused. However the reason I’ve given 3 stars is the rest of the staff were lovely. Breakfast is fantastic and the gent who runs breakfast was very helpful. Room nice, a tad small, think it’s all designed to be trendy more than comfort, but no complaints apart from big, shower gels and soap, one completely empty and one with scraps of soap left. These should be changed when the room made up, especially when paying a premium for class of room. In all beautiful decor downstairs, on whole friendly staff, would I stay here again probably not.

Stayed here on a solo trip four night trip to Vienna, and found it more than adequate as a base to explore from. Check-In was smooth and quick despite it being late on a night, and the reception staff more than friendly and welcoming. The room itself is what you would expect from a budget hotel and the price paid for it. Basic needs met with a good shower, reasonably comfortable bed, TV with various language channels. No frills stuff you would expect. The hotel and rooms could use a little sprucing up though. Showing signs of wear and tare due to high volume of guests etc. Worn down hall carpets, walls marked and needing painted over etc, but nothing that will ruin your stay. Breakfast, which was a paid optional extra, was a cold buffet but more than adequate in my eys. Plenty of cereal, bread, rolls, cheeses, meats etc. So ihad no complaints about it at all. There was no bar facilities, but does have vending machines. Location wise...it is a wee bit out of town. No bars or restaurants around it, but it is very close to the Gasometer Metro station and you can be in the city centre within 10-15mins using the metro. I bought the 17 Euro 72 hour pass ticket and it was well worth the value. There is a couple of supermarkets right next to the hotel, but they both shut early at around 7.30 at night. If I visit the wonderful ciity of Vienna again, I would not hesitiate to use this hotel again. Although, it maybe a bit out of the centre, but for price alone and decent links to the centre it makes a good cheap option for a base to explore Vienna.
