As the last reviews are 5 years old I can only assume management has changed since then. I have never been spoken to so rudely as by the man managing breakfast and check outs. Breakfast ends at 09.30 on a weekend and check out is at 10.00 which is ridiculous. The place is far from the centre, over-basic and the breakfast is terrible. Never again.

Accommodation is a bit old, but there is everything you need. Rooms were clean and our wishes were taken into account. It was great that there was free parking, which is no longer a given these days. The entire staff was very friendly - from the reception to the staff at the breakfast area and in the bar. Breakfast had a good selection and you were often asked if you had a special request.

I booked a little last minute to Vienna and therefore ended up a little further outside the center than I would have liked. Despite this, it was a very nice accommodation with helpful staff and well-equipped rooms. I had a little problem when I booked and had to make two separate reservations, but when I explained to the receptionist she understood and let me keep my room for all nights. The breakfast was quite ok. There is not much to do in the immediate area and is probably more practical if you have a car. Otherwise, there is also a bus that goes to the tram/subway.

I was a regular there for years, it's actually a relatively quiet, pleasant hotel with good public transport connections. During my stay last week, the heating was turned off on both nights (despite complaining after the first icy night). That's not acceptable, I'll never stay there again. As I have recently, I always had a corner double room with plenty of space and a big bed. But what's the use if you're freezing at night? The heating is turned off completely before midnight and not turned back on again until around 6:30 a.m. With an icy wind outside (and far from ideal windows) and about 0 degrees C. The receptionist (or manager) took my complaint on the first morning, apologized and promised that a heating engineer would look into it. The second night was the same as before. To save money, the timer was simply set so that the heating wasn't on at night, so I didn't need a engineer. A disgrace. And I caught a bad cold.

The hotel is in a very quiet residential area. More suitable for guests with a car, as there are plenty of free parking spaces. Very clean rooms, big enough. Modern furnishings. Service/reception very friendly. Check-in via code possible 24 hours a day. We were here for the second time and were completely satisfied this time too.
