The hotel is on the top of a mountain, and driving up there is a relatively narrow road.
It's very retro and feels quite unique. The service is also very attentive. There is an Austrian guy at the front desk who actually speaks a little Chinese.
A one-day bus and subway pass can be purchased at the front desk for 17.5 euros.

A great hotel for family big room friendly staff and amazing view good for people who want free parking ,the rooms big , the hotel clean and good service too . The reception team is helpful omar and the lady at reception which I forget her name was extremely helpfull

This has been my go-to hotel in Vienna for more than 10 years. It is a decent 4-star choice especially if you look for a peaceful stay in lovely green environment, a stunning view to the city, pleasing, classic architecture and opulent interior. The rooms are nice and spacious but nothing seems to have changed since my first visit, consequently the furnishing seems to be a bit aged and worn-out. The door of the bathroom is made of ground glass and you can see directly to the toilet from the anteroom. The hotel should definitely reconsider this choice. The sleeping quality could not be better. The beds are super comfy and the walls are so thick that you'll sleep like a baby even if a hyperactive kindergarten stays next door. I have a good general impression of the service, but the housekeeping did not excel this time. The breakfast is ok, the a-la-carte selection and quality is quite basic, but again, the environment is worth the price. You can enjoy your meal on the terrace, a cute winter garden or a luxurious ballroom with a breathtaking view to the city. You can get to the city center and the main sights in about half an hour by bus, it runs frequently (in every 10-15 minutes) and stops right in front of the hotel.

As beautiful as it looks in the pictures, it is a stunning building with amazing rooms. The staff were so friendly. There was an amazing view over the city, and it was peaceful but there was still frequent public transport to get around. Will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel has a nice location, the view is beautiful over the city, breakfast was diversified and of good quality. Bus has station was next to the hotel entrance. We were welcomed with a free drink in the restaurant, which was nice after driving couple of hours. Still the room had old furniture and poorly maintained ( chair was burned by a cigarette or something) sofa was quite old, stairs to bad creaked, bathroom was small. There were also some events that closed some open spaces and one day there were tables with food containers in the reception.

I love this Hotel…. Rooms very clean with beautiful views. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very good breakfast buffet.
One only thing they can do better is a Bar place to have a drink with a bit music.
