We booked at grätzlhotel Karmelitermarkt for three nights in July 2024., After the reservation, we received a confirmation email where we were informed that we would be staying in a “street suite” but we never thought that the suite entrance was literally on the street adjacent to a bar / restaurant. The suite’s entrance was a glass door, the pedestrians could see right through the room. The room had curtains that had to be closed all the time for privacy thus darkening the room. Also, there were no windows. At the time of our visit, construction work was ongoing so it was not quiet from the early hours in the morning. The adjacent bar / restaurant had tables across our room so it was noisy all the time and especially at night. The room was separated from the bathroom area with a curtain, so no real privacy when taking a shower. The room itself was not very big, it was rather crowded for three people. I think they should have informed us of the conditions we would be facing.

The room is Nice. But! The adress of the hotel you get is not the good location? If you arrive before 15:00 no way to leave the luggages, there is no reception. So, you will take à second cab to the office and leave luggages there as you go around. Oh, the office closes at 17:00...They were kind to send our luggages to the room( 10 minutes drive). The tv is Nice but dossn't work and nobkdy to help If you want an hotel with no services this one is perfect.

These units are very unique, spacious, and clean and come with a miniature kitchenette. Next door to a nice restaurant and walkable to downtown. We visited in September when the temperature was 80F, and the room didn't cool down until late at night. There is a remote that looks like you can set the temperature, but it doesn't actually work. There is NO front desk, so check-in was very confusing (had to ask the restaurant to call someone to be let in) and replies to messages takes a few days. Website also states that there is free Wifi...but does NOT give you the name or password. When we finally received this info, the network was not even available. So would not recommend if needing to get work done, but if just for sleeping and visiting the city, perfect spot!

Fantastic apartment. The decoration is as seen in the photos. It has a metro station a few minutes away and the center can be reached with a 15-minute walk. The apartment is comfortable, and has what you need to spend a few days. The attention, even by email or phone, is fast and effective. I would repeat. We are missing some kitchen utensils and a microwave.

I can't put a zero because that's what it deserves, I won't stop to write anything about the area and the amenities, I'm just telling you don't come. I'm writing this review while I'm still here, nothing like this has ever happened. This kind of loft which is located in the middle of the street as if it were a shop, borders a room, divided only by a plasterboard wall where there is loud music (disco type) until late in the evening. We with a one year old girl, after a day out and about, dead tired, can't sleep a wink, from the screams, the chants, the inconceivable noises and the music. A nightmare I swear, absolutely don't come

Our individual apartment at the Karmelitermarkt left nothing to be desired. The location is great, especially the amenities all around. Everything is lovingly and tastefully designed, we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!

We had a great stay! The suite was nicely furnished, clean, the beds were comfortable, we had a fridge, we could make ourselves a coffee... The location was particularly great: the district is quiet, but at the same time it is lively around the Karmelitermarkt. There is also a great little cafe (room 37) for breakfast. A great pub/restaurant (Ma Dai) is right on the corner - very warm, friendly people everywhere. The city center is easy and quick to reach. All in all, highly recommended!

Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt in einem Zimmer von Grätzl. Das Zimmer war schön, die Lage auch super. Leider liegt das Zimmer, der Laternenanzünder, Wand an Wand mit einer Weinbar. Hier kommt man Nachts nur schwer zur Ruhe. Außerdem befand sich genau vor unserer Tür eine große Baustelle, diese begann früh um 06:00 Uhr. Dementsprechend waren die Nächte kurz und absolut nicht erholsam. Wäre darauf vor unserem Aufenthalt hingewiesen worden, hätten wir uns nicht für dieses Zimmer entschieden.

Sehr sauber! Die Lage ist klasse in 10 min ist man in der Stadt und bei der Bahn, 15 min läuft man zum Prater. In der Nähe sind ein Spar und ein Billa zum Einkaufen (2 min Fußweg), sowie einige Cafes und eine Rooftop Bar. Der Karmelitermarkt ist in 1 min Fußweg zu erreichen. Wir haben die Lage wirklich als perfekt empfunden! Das Bad ist direkt im Raum, auch wenn die Tiolette nochmal abschließbar ist gibt es wenig Privatsphäre- muss man mögen! Wir fanden es nicht schlimm. Das Zimmer ist im EG und daher sehr hellhörig und recht laut da es direkt an der Straße ist. Zum Schlafen ist es relativ hell, da die Vorhänge nicht die ganzen Fenster abdecken. Insgesamt aber echt eine Empfehlung!
