Really really good location because its very close to the shopping center.
However, recommend to visit there by public transportation because the parking cost per day is really really expensive... 35 euro.

I couldn’t be happier during my three nights of stay at the Intercontinental Vienna. I was given an early check in upon arrival after a tiring long haul flight. The front desk staff was so warm and helpful, giving me all the tips to browse the city area. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better as the Metro station is directly opposite to the hotel entrance. The breakfast was awesome with good quality food which fed me so well that I didn’t need a meal for the day until later in the afternoon. I want to specially mention the nicest staff at its bar who not only provided excellent service but showed their warmth and care to their customers. During Xmas day, after my dinner at the bar, one of the staff kindly ran to the life to give me a plate of chocolate biscuits to wish me a merry Christmas. I was so touched and want to use here to express my thanks to them and to that particular staff. I wish I had his name ! Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay there and will not hesitate to come back if I ever visit Vienna. It is the most value for money place I have stayed.

The hotel is a bit old. The location is good and it is convenient to walk to various attractions in the city center. The breakfast is rich.
