We stayed at hotel Blu Aran at the beginning of December in order to enjoy the opening of ski season at Baqueira Beret ski resort. The location of the hotel is in Vielha, just a short walk from downtown and still in a quiet side road. It has available free parking, which is not a common thing here, since many hotels charge up to 10€ per day to use their parking space even to customers. Breakfast is good but lacking a bit in variety. Rooms are comfortable and cozy with good condition appliances, we specially enjoyed the big bathtub to relax with a hot bath after the whole day skiing. Also the balcony is a very nice space with a great view over the rooftops of Vielha. Overall a good experience in Hotel Blu Aran

La habitación doble perfecta relación calidad precio. Baño nuevo y limpio. Habitación limpia y nueva.Enara de recepcion muy agradable. La cama muy comoda. En medio de vielha con parking privado. Cerca de todo sin necesidad de coger coche.

The hotel is centrally situated in a busy square with access to shops, bars restaurants. You need to unload and find a parking space nearby. There is a very noisy bar in the square where the customers congregate outside. It was really noisy until midnight. If these guests are staying in the hotel the noise continues a bit longer. It starts again at 5 am when the cleaning of the square starts then the vehicles. Maybe we were unlucky but the staff were unfriendly. No info given on breakfast, wifi etc. Had to wait for ages for coffee at breakfast and another long wait at checkout to get someone to come down. Room was nothing special, shower above bath was in ridiculous position, bathroom had a lingering sewage smell. We were here for 1 night as our hotel had overbooked so perhaps we weren't given the same service as a normal customer but we won't be back. There is no bar or restaurant.

Spacious and well designed 2-storey apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely living and dining area. The sloping roof in the bedroom and bathroom, looked kind of dangerous, but thankfully we did not hit our heads. Free parking is available on the street on the front, side and back. there’s also a grocery store right next-door (Mercadona). Of course, the Aran Valley and the surrounding villages are so stunningly beautiful, and this apartment proved a good base.
