My wife and I have stayed in so many hotels in 70 years of travelling, El Ciervo certainly ranks among the very best. First and foremost I would put value. With an inclusive breakfast at a rate less than €80 per night, unbelievable. And what a breakfast, not a simple buffet but 9 or 10 individual tapas like dishes and these after the ham and cheese , before the pastries. This is a family hotel with a long tradition, with a warm, welcoming ambience. Located very near to the town centre in virtually a pedestrian area. No a/c but on a warm night with open windows peaceful and quiet. Incredible and very helpful staff with many years of service. Excellent bathroom including two bathrobes, 4* facility ! I should point out that the hotel is accessed by a number of steps to the front door. In getting increasingly older I will possibly need help on our next visit. My only suggestion for our next visit, please improve the quality of your breakfast orange drink, totally at odds with every other part of our stay. Our grateful thanks

We went there twice, first experience was fantastic (we went with a client), second finished with a bitter taste. You better go with someone they know until they know you… otherwise manners are not the same, our family was very disappointed.

We had a meal at Hotel El Ciervo, the decor and the ambience was so welcoming and stylish. The staff were fantastic the starters were delicious - Carpaccio of Cod and Tagliatelle ragu, the latter was delicious. The cod was not to my wife’s liking because she didn’t realise it was raw - totally our fault, and the staff offered to change it - really brilliant and thoughtful service! The main course of monkfish was devine, and the house wines were fantastic!! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!!

Beyond words, perfect up to the smallest detail, spectacular services, a lot of personal touches. I've travelled a lot (business & Leisure), but this is the 1st hotel I'm always excited the next day for an unbelievable breakfast (more of a brunch) - diff each morning. Every meal has been prepared to perfection, both aesthetically & truly delicious 😋 We also tried dinner, 6pax ordered differently, we all love and tried each and nothing was set aside, every meal has been super delicious!!! Will definitely be back and refer this place to friends

Hotel encantador, muy bien decorado, muy limpio, el personal súper amable y el desayuno espectacular. Esta muy bien situado en el centro de Vielha. Una gran relación calidad precio. En próximas visitas al Vall d'Aran sin duda será mi primera opción.

Estuvimos a finales de agosto mis hermanas y yo y quedamos maravilladas de este encantador hotel y de la amabilidad de los dos hermanos que lo gestionan: Sofía y Toto. Acogedor, decorado con exquisito gusto, como en un cuento invernal y con un desayuno increíble de 5 estrellas, puro delikatessen!! Todo el personal muy atento, Aroa indicándonos lugares a visitar, también gracias a Anka, Carmi... Lo recomendamos sin duda alguna!!

Estancia espectacular! Fuimos con nuestros 2 peques de 2 años. El hotel como en casa, los desayunos de 10, el personal excepcional y la cena: una de las mejores pastas que hemos comido en la vida! Visita obligada en Vielha para siempre! Gracias família!

Tras unos años sin ir, hemos vuelto. La verdad, es que íbamos con las expectativas muy altas porque en otros años el hotel era perfecto en todo. Las fotos del buffet de desayuno ya no son acordes a la realidad. No os dejéis engañar por dichas fotos. Hemos vivido la etapa de ese buffet, y habíamos ido a menudo al hotel por ese desayuno. En la actualidad es un desayuno que no te llenas. De primero pan con embutido, nos ha tocado 6 mini rodajas de pan con tomate, 6 trocitos de queso, 2 trozos de jamón dulce partidos por la mitad (para dos personas), luego son 5 mini bocaditos degustación de chef salados, y 4 mini postres degustación, servidos por ellos. Lo que antes era un desayuno diferencial comparado con cualquier hotel, hoy en día es inferior a cualquier hotel, ya que es muy arriesgado poner lo mismo a todo el mundo, que no todos tenemos los mismos gustos, ni ganas de probar cosas que no conocemos. Además, con la poca cantidad de ese desayuno ,es imposible salir a hacer una excursión. El hotel conserva el encanto de siempre, en lo que es la entrada y zona de recepción. La habitación que nos ha tocado descuidada, la limpieza no era correcta, faltaban cortinas en ventana baño, teniendo la ventana de la otra habitación a más o menos 2 metros. Ahora el champú y gel son rellenables, y no están atentos a llenarlos ya que el gel estaba vacío. Así como antes lo podía recomendar con total confianza, a dia de hoy no podria hacerlo. Hasta hoy siempre estábamos pendientes a que tuviera una habitación libre, a partir de ahora ya no hará falta.
