The Hostel grounds themselves and the tent was very clean. We just did not realize that by booking a “double room” that it was actually a tent. The provided fan was nice and kept us cool in the evening and pool kept us clean during the day.
The location though is a bit outside of the town center though so you either need a car or to call a taxi to get anywhere.
The restaurant onsite was okay, but it wasn’t explained to us that occasionally they have a special BBQ and you can’t order anything else from the menu. If we knew that at the time, we would have stopped at the market and self catered.
But the staff was all lovely and helpful.

I feel a special connection to this place. So very calm. Everything one needs to live. The cleaning staff is amazing. If there is anything you need, let them know and they will take care of it for you. Pool is inviting after a hot day and it’s wonderful to sit outside for great conversation and a possible braai for dinner.

Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge is situated in a convenient and accessible location, which made it easy for us to walk comfortably into Victoria Falls town. The lodge offers well-spaced and pleasant areas to relax. However, we faced some challenges with mosquitoes despite having a net. Unfortunately, parts of the mosquito net had small holes that allowed mosquitoes to get through.

Nice pool, clean rooms, great value rooms and small breakfast cafe. A bit out of town (long walk) and only able to serve food in evenings if there were enough guests.. power cut (no fan, 30 degrees) and campers car alarms going off in night deprived us of slumber.

The nice thing about being a backpacker is that you can make a lot of new acquaintances here. Nice accommodation for an acceptable price, would definitely stay again.

Nice green place. Pool. Very kind and helpfully staff. Good internet. BBQ TV (Sports) huge screen. Travelers to talk with. Not close to downtown ( what to do there? Only Falls), but away from helicopter noise!

Very warm welcome. Even though I arrived late I Gott shown everything including the fish spa and the lookout :) Fair money policy :))) Fabulous booking of ongoing activities. Bear in mind that you should pay the rest of the money cash at the hostel if you haven't payed all in advance.
