The boss is Korean. I paid on Ctrip, but when I arrived at the store, he insisted that I had not paid and asked me to pay in cash again. It took a long time to figure it out. He was not friendly to us either. The room was old. Not recommended.

There are a lot of cats, and the boss is very kind. Unfortunately, the nearby residents are noisy. They make noises during the day and into the night. I don't know if it's a problem of sound insulation or the quality of the residents.

The wifi is very poor, basically no internet connection. The outside of the hotel smells a bit, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with it.

The room is large and feels very cozy; the boss is very welcoming and even gave me a bottle of milk; the location is good, 5 minutes' drive from the center of Rotorua

I should have paid better attention to the photos. The condition of the room was more rundown than I expected. Furniture had that thrift store vibe. It wasn't dirty but there were dead bugs in the light fixtures, cobwebs in the bathroom lights, noticeable dust on fixtures, peeling wallpaper.
It wasn't up to my standards and I checked out a night early.

The property is old and run down. From the mould in the bathroom to the old faded brown duvet covers and the stains on the carpet it needs a complete overhaul. I would not stay there again.
