Absolutely beautiful hotel with welcoming staff for you and your furry companion. Came to Villa della Porta with my husband and dog in Sept. You will need a car to get here, as it's located on the top of a hill. But you'll want a car anyway so you can go exploring. From check in to check out, the entire stay was wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous with HUGE ceilings and dark wooden furniture that will make you feel like you've been transported back to a 1950s Italian movie. There is an on-site restaurant that serves amazing food with fresh ingredients. We had dinner here twice and were impressed both times. There is also breakfast in the morning, served on an outdoor space overlooking the grounds and the sea. We would definitely stay here again, everything was wonderful.

Beautiful ancient villa that belonged to the philosopher Della Porta. The rooms are large, spartan and clean. The view from the terrace directly overlooking the Gulf of Vico is wonderful. Davide, the young owner was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, a note on breakfast... we asked to bring the time forward by half an hour but there was no kitchen staff so we had to prepare it ourselves.

Let's say right away that it is not a 4 star, at least with regard to the rooms, which are really old in every respect (from the bed and pillows to the bathroom, from the worn floor to the furniture). The impression is that they care about taking care of the outside for events, but the rooms are abandoned. High inconvenience: the wi-fi comes and goes and in an area where the telephone line is very poor it can be a problem. The staff is courteous and helpful.

My husband and I stayed for 3 days in this splendid villa. From the moment you arrive by car you are struck by the grandeur of the structure, refined and well cared for, surrounded by greenery. We were welcomed with kindness and attention by all the staff who made themselves available to satisfy every need and request. For all three evenings we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant... what can I say? Truly excellent quality, research into raw materials and variety accompanied all our dinners. All thanks to the precious work of chef Luigi who, in addition to being very good, was also very friendly and company. We also thank Luigi the maitre as well as the director Salvatore and his son Simone for their availability.

We booked for 3 nights and had a superb stay. The meals were OK for the price. The setting was green and gave a breathtaking view of the coast. The staff were of great help to us and always listened to us. Thank you for helping to make our vacation enjoyable.

I was a guest with my wife and children, a beautiful location surrounded by gardens with a sea view, swimming pool surrounded by greenery, I recommend the cuisine with chef Luigi, quality and flavors of our land, Salvatore the owner has only one objective, that of making you feel at home your home. I also recommend the rooms of the historic residence that I have visited on other occasions... a pearl in Vico Equense in the heart of the Sorrento peninsula.

We stayed 2 nights. The structure is beautiful but above all we liked the location. It is about 2 km away. From Vico Equense and surrounded by greenery, on the hills. For those who want peace and tranquility it is the right place. Good location for touring the Sorrento Peninsula. Very kind, welcoming and discreet staff. The only flaw is the mattress is not really comfortable. For the rest Everything is OK.

We spent 3 days in this splendid 1500s villa in Vico Equense. Very quiet place, far from the coastal towns and for this reason it can be uncomfortable for those who want to take a trip to the town for an aperitif or after dinner, but very restful with a beautiful swimming pool, clean and surrounded by greenery.
