Everything was perfect, from the decoration, service, and food! We love it! Many congratulations and much success, Fabulous breakfast and wonderful dinner! the staff is extremely kind and careful! I highly recommend staying there, I came with my husband on my honeymoon and I hope to come back more often. Top, perfect, unique!

Very impressed with everything at this hotel. It has an amazing rooftop bar and restaurant, not to mention heated swimming pool for all ages. The service is incredible and the staff welcoming and friendly. There is also a 2 Michelin star restaurant for a culinary experience and well worth a special night out. Cannot rate this hotel and the restaurants highly enough. Probably wouldn’t book the beach club (not part of the hotel) again but everything else is just amazing. Thank you to all the staff for making this a special weekend.

The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in ... and I have travelled the world! It is in a superb location looking out onto the sea. My room was very comfortable. The staff right through the property were top class in terms of being very friendly, helpful and professional. There is an amazing roof top bar and hang out area with fantastic panoramic views of the entire Viareggio area. The breakfast must be the greatest breakfast in the world, so is the choice of food and options to have what every you want cooked on the spot.

We went to Viareggio during the middle of our stay in Italy. It was the perfect option for rest and relaxation before heading to Florence. We had our kids with us, so we opted for the family suite which worked out great. The service was above and beyond by all staff members. The reason I am giving it a 4 star is we had a mishap with a boat vendor they recommended. I did speak with the FD manager and he did his best to remedy the situation but with the amount of of money we spent on the excursion and an entire day, it was very disappointing.

Me & my family have been on a 9 day trip to Italy, we finished off in Viareggio and couldn’t have picked a better hotel. From the moment of check in we were greeted by lovely, friendly staff. The atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful, calm & relaxing as soon as we stepped inside. Both rooms we booked were gorgeous and the beds super comfy!! Fresh towels daily and the toiletries replenished when we needed! The spa was perfect as we had a few cloudy days so headed to relax in the sauna / salt room! The pool area was our favourite part, amazing views, heated pool and the friendliest staff!! We can’t wait to return to the hotel already, it was a place to remember!

From the moment we arrived, we were extremely impressed with the Principe. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the food was amazing and the location is fantastic. Rooms are very comfortable and the facilities help make the stay relaxing. We will definitely return to the hotel for another break.

On arriving to this fantastic hotel the service from the staff was first class. Very nice suite two bathrooms my wife was very impressed at that. Breakfast choice truly amazing. And the two star Michelin chef was doing the rounds at breakfast too. My wife really liked the chocolates given to her on departure. Well done to all. Stewart and Sarah Dawson.

I usually don't write reviews unless the experience was either great or terrible. In this case sadly, our experience was poor. We arrived a few hours before normal check in and were greeted by surly staff who were not helpful. They could not tell us when a room might be available and offered to message us later in the day. We headed upstairs to grab a drink on the roof. After ordering a few drinks and some water (which never showed up), we gave up waiting and headed to the beach club. The club was empty and again the staff were surly. At the beach club we ordered some drinks which again never showed up. We also never received a message to say our room was ready. At 5pm we headed back to the hotel and found that a room was finally ready for us. While the room was very nice, there was a mess on the carpet from what we guessed to be recent repairs that was just left there. Also, there was no iron or ironing board so no way to deal with the inevitable crumpled clothing. We did enjoy the breakfast and had a lovely Albanian waitress who was the only person to be polite and smile during our entire stay, other than the hostess at the rooftop pool. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many hotels and this was the least welcoming place I have ever been to.
