I never stayed here. I booked the wrong dates and when I cancelled, I was charged for my two rooms immediately. When I emailed to see if I could be refunded or if the rooms could be offset against my correct booking 3 days later I was told no! I think this is bad form. It in on the Camino route so would get a lot of footfall.

A perfect location for our rowing camp in the world class facilities at Viana Remadores do Lima. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room are clean, tidy and comfortable. The pool, jacuzzi and bar are relaxed and easy going places to enjoy this excellent hotel.

Clearly the hotel has been recently renovated. Facilities are nice, simple, modern design. We stayed in a family room with bunks above the main bed which the kids loved. The pool is large with a beautiful lawn/lounger area next to the bar. The location is walking distance to the old town with a view over the bridge. Yes it is beside a fairly busy road but we didn't find it's problem. There is a limited amount of free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast was a very nice buffet on the sixth floor. Service was friendly and welcoming. For the price we paid very good value. I don't understand why this is only a three Star hotel, presumably the lack of a restaurant. Definitely recommended.

The truth is, I'm not going to say anything about the hotel or the facilities, because it won't complete my stay. My experience is that I booked at this hotel to go with my family, and when I arrived the dates did not match. I don't know if it was my fault or Booking's fault but when I arrived the hotel was full and they told me they couldn't do anything. I sent him an email explaining what will happen to me, and to see if they could return the money or even just part of it. They only responded to me, cancellation rejected. They didn't offer me a change of dates or even any solution. Let them enjoy the money they have kept, but let them know that he who has a mouth is wrong. I'm just telling you that if they were the only hotel in Viana do Castelo, I would never return. But luckily there are more who are not like you.

Fui parar a este hotel por indisponibilidade de outro que fico habitualmente. Foi a pior experiência que tive em hotéis. A começar pela reserva de casal com criança de 3 anos e quando chegamos ao quarto não havia cama para a minha filha. A vista, como na reserva mencionava, tinha vista montanha mas na realidade a vista era mesmo para o parque de estacionamento. Internet nunca conseguimos apanhar. E quando reclamamos para 7 pessoas que havia a trabalhar dentro do balcão fizeram cara de pasmados como senão soubessem do que se passava e só responderam “ desliguem e liguem novamente “. E por fim, que pequeno almoço tão artificial. Tido enlatado( fruta) e muito pouca diversidade. Para terminar a limpeza para um 3 estrelas deveriam ponderar. Um conselho: NÃO VÃO!!!

Este hotel está bem situado, mesmo á entrada da cidade, o único senão é ficar numa estrada de apenas um sentido, e que obriga a andar ás voltas para ir ao centro da cidade. O parque de estacionamento gratuito é muito limitado, a partir do final da tarde é impossível ter lugar. O WC tinha pouca luz, e havia uma fuga de agua por baixo do poliban, que deixava a toalha do chão encharcada e suja de ferrugem. O pior foi mesmo a qualidade do sono, que foi má. O quarto era virado para a estrada e as janelas não isolam minimamente o ruido, é como ter uma janela aberta, e mesmo no 3º andar o som dos carros a passar na estrada, tornam impossível descansar.

Quartos de comodidade baixa. Casa banho muito básica , colchão a necessitar substituição. Pequeno almoço de baixa qualidade , iogurtes escassos , fruta de conserva, cafe ( bebida) de fraca qualidade ( nao consegui beber ) adoçante dado de uma embalagem familiar ( tendo dado os comprimidos , contados, num prato ?!!
