Very friendly people, very welcoming and peaceful. Food are so delicious. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be free from stress to visit Duadua resort.

After booking 2 nights ppreaid, and being unable to get to Dua Dua because of flooding, we arrived on the second night prepaid. Dua Dua refused to accept our booking (already paid for) and could only offer us a room for over $500 a night. They did assure us that we would be refunded the full amount that we had paid. Great, we were 2 pension age ladies with nowhere else to sleep. Had to drive through to Suva in storm conditions. Fiji hospitality a joke unless youre paying over the odds!!!!!

Stayed here for a night. Since our stay was during the low season, accommodation rate was reasonable. This is a nice Resort with good potential but our stay was somewhat disappointing. Upon check a gentleman accomponied us to our Vila and started doing a Inventory and then had me sign off on it. I do not recall ever having to do this at any other Resort/Hotel. The Villas are layered on a Hillside. There was construction going on uphill from our Villa. The Construction workers could look into our bathroom as there were no coverings on the Bathroom Window. Construction work also started at about 7am on the Sunday morning which was really annoying. We were not informed of the ongoing construction work when we booked our stay. The bedding had a stale and dirty smell but bedding was replaced upon request. The Accomodation rate includes Continental Breakfast. The breakfast actually is a small buffet of cooked breakfast and has scrammbled eggs, lamb sausages, toast, cereals and fresh fruit with tea/coffee. Unfortunately the breakfast (eggs and sausages) was cold. The staff were friendly. Vila is spaciaous and the queen bed was comfortable. Giving 3 Stars as the issues we faced can easily be rectified if the Management wants to.

The worst ever place to be, went with a family of 8 pax, ordered entrees and drinks, informed the staff goin for a walk and back to order main course, the staff cleared tables, we returned and sat to order, we were given menus and cutlery, after 5 mins when we were ready to order at 8.36pm, the staff comes in and says that the Chef has closed the kitchen so we can't order, the worst things was that it was my family's were all hungry but they still could not take orders because the chef had closed the kitchen, what a perfect service provided. Never ever retuning back to the worst service resort. Do not recommend, if you are hungry and want to relax and enjoy dinner with family make sure to call and Ask Tanoa hotel, they will be be very happy to wait for you and open the kitchen for you.. Pathetic service ever..

This place is bs, my family and I just arrived today. We booked a family Villa consisting of one king bed and a single. As we checked in the AC did not work, we called the reception to ask them if they could fix it while we went out for a while. When we came back nothing was resolved, this staff is the most laziest I’ve ever seen. The pool is dirty and they charge for water activities that should not be charged such as Kayaking. The curtains in the room weren’t even nicely put onto the rod. Such a waste of money, they have a good view but the food is expensive and the accommodation is expensive too. $400 a night was definitely not worth it for us. To anyone looking for a place to visit in RakiRaki I suggest you book at Voli Voli Resort. It is clean, more comfortable and looks/feels more like a hotel than this one does. Not to mention the towels are dirty, the road to go to the villas aren’t good and it’s a cheap made accommodation sold for way more then the quality of service, rooms and food it has to offer.

We met with the owners who are very nice people who have worked very hard. The overall stay was excellent with the exception there were stains on the sheets and towels. After we told them, they changed it. But there were still stains on the sheets. I think the 3rd party who does the laundry are not doing very good job.

The resort had virtually no one there except the couple in the room next to ours. The walls were extremely thin. We could hear them talking most of the night. Their cell phone ringing, their alarm going off at 5 am. The resort should have put us in another villa since the place was empty.

When checking in, reception couldn’t find booking of our luxury Villa (king size & double sofa bed)that had already been paid for. They claimed luxury already booked out, so offered a Super deluxe (double and single bed in 1 room), claiming this villa is larger and more expensive than luxury, so no refund would be processed to us for the difference. This also happened to another group staying at the same time. On entering the villa, lots of small bugs were present in bathroom, in bedding, even in the kettle. Staff did however come to spray the Villa with bug spray. When finding bugs in bedding, we noticed the sheets were dirty with actual ‘debris’ and stained. These were ‘supposedly’ changed after we requested clean sheets. Shower leaked from the base of the shower tray, to the extent it left a large pool of water across the bathroom floor. There is a steep, unmade, curved slope leading to the villas, both a scary experience to drive (as there is also a hidden gully) and a trip/fall hazard to walk - loose stones & rocks from the pot holes. The swimming pool was slimy to enter, and discoloured murky grey. The beach is not one that you are able to swim in. There is no sand, just rocks, rubble and lots of sharp coral along the waters edge. Within the waterline, you sink into the substance. Workman were building the new villas behind the present ones, between the hours of 8am-4pm, every day. We had not been informed of any building works. The walls are very thin, you can hear every word spoken from neighbours. Selected meals were incorrect for three different groups, including our own. Good points however are the stunning views from the villas, the evening entertainment, kayaks, banana boat, and excursions.

Lovely part of Fiji and great views. A couple of minor issues with the room -TV not working and staff could not fix. Also wall to next unit was not at all sound deadening - suggest you modify this when outfitting the villas being constructed. Biggest negative was the track in to the resort which was in very poor condition and not really suitable for low clearance hire cars.
