One of the few youth hostels in Lofoten, each with its own room, but with a shared bathroom. The design inside is great. The public area, kitchen, and restaurant all have their own space, making it very comfortable to live in. The rooms and bathrooms are also super clean and have heating. The price is also cheap.
The room is fully glass, the view is super good and beautiful
There are also many activities available for guests to order. The sauna is highly recommended. There is also a lake at the back. There is no light pollution here, and if you are lucky, you can take pictures of the aurora.
In the summer, meals are provided at your own expense, and there is also a cafe on the first floor.
The location is right on the E10 road. If you rent a car, it is highly recommended to stay here for a night.

It was an amazing peaceful night and a real pleasure to meet a lot of different persons, nationalities and cultures ! The bathroom and toilets were clean and the work team very kind ! I loved the way to share the kitchen and the living room like a big flat-sharing !

You can even travel the hostel’s area. Next to a lake and a fjord. The crew consists of nice people. Bathrooms are clean and good. There is a large parking area.

The hostel was dibs one of the best i have stayed in, and i have stayed in many. It was everything s hostel should be: Clean, tidy , organised, inviting, and most of all friendly. The owners and staff were helpful informative and fun. The lakeside Location was perfect, and the Lofotens should be on everyone's list. And so should Furu!

One of the best hostels in Europe I have ever visited, the dorms are good, top notch facilities, located in the heart of Lofoten, the food is also good, value for money. They also have adequate parking, loved my stay with them, the common spaces are aestethic

The experience at the FURU hostel was amazing. The vibes were amazing. My room was super clean and nice. I had my own sink right in my room. There were plenty of showers and really nice common spaces to hang out. You could even have a fire in the wood burning stove in the main hang out area. The building itself had really cool energy and was exactly what I needed. I was able to cold plunge and sauna every night, which felt so good for my wellbeing. The staff were super attentive and really casual. They made you feel at home and helped with questions about the area. I also felt cared for. Karina & Camille really made a great impression on me. Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you so much!

Overall, a really pleasant stay! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean, and the common area had a stylish, cozy vibe. There’s even a lake right behind the property—such a bonus. I stayed in a dorm room for two nights, and they provided a small locker for valuables, which was super handy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the staff on site were a friendly, welcoming bunch.
