Oste del Castello is a hidden gem. The hotel is exceptionally well run, with wonderful and warmly attentive service. Al Mastin Vecchio, the hotel restaurant, is deserving of a Michelin star (or two).

The name innkeeper of the castle already suggests that this structure was born as a good quality tavern. In fact, the catering part is of an excellent standard, with very friendly staff and excellent quality of food. The problem arises when referring to the accommodation facility: in fact the four stars awarded are absolutely excessive. The rooms are not comfortable, and in any case not up to 4 star standards. The staff appears approximate, the quality/price ratio of the rooms is negative. And here perhaps we should open a general parenthesis: the majority of Italians, after having been under house arrest due to Covid, seem to accept any price for any structure. Now, paying €200 per night for this modest structure in Verucchio clearly seems counterintuitive. There is really no value for money. It's not clear to me how long tourists will tolerate exorbitant prices for modest facilities: probably one day all this will end, and the castle inn will be one of the first to pay the price.

The spa is small and nice but the service is lacking, there is no herbal tea, nothing only cold water. In the package in which I added an hour of exclusive spa, the bottle was included in the room but it didn't arrive. I was a little disappointed

I stayed one night with my family in this hotel, excellent breakfast and dinner in the attached restaurant. The room was very small and the third bed did not exist. There was an armchair which when opened became a cot with a mattress on which it was impossible to sleep. Spa very small.

ero già stato nel 2017 ed il posto ha mantenuto il suo livello. Ho usufruito della stanza Rosa d’oro su più livelli e del ristorante interno. Pienamente soddisfatto del rapporto qualità prezzo e della cura nell’accoglienza. Ottima la colazione per assortimento e qualità. Tornerò molto volentieri spero il prima possibile.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti: tutto perfetto partendo dalla cortesia della signora Simona: camera super pulita e molto accogliente: e dopo una giornata di passeggio ci vuole proprio un bel relax e quindi... una bellissima SPA meravigliosa e super rilassante. Se torneremo in zona sceglieremo sicuramente di nuovo il nostro hotel
