I stayed here on business and was slightly nervous after reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. However, I should not have worried. Is this a super modern five star luxury resort? No, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It is however one of the most warm and friendly places I’ve stayed for ages. Every single staff member was lovely and they all coped well with me speaking no German whatsoever. They were all kind and thoughtful and welcoming. The place is all spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was great. So I will happily stay here again. I will take the warm atmosphere of this place and happily accept it’s a little dated - I will choose that over modern furniture and a less warm welcome.

As a non-hotel guest, I signed up for the breakfast buffet here. The price of €12.50 is totally ok here. Unfortunately we found a grazed buffet. Three rolls, no scrambled eggs, a grazed sausage and cheese platter, an empty Nutella jar doesn't really invite you to a leisurely breakfast. Unfortunately, this was not recognized by the service either, so I had to complain to the reception, since the breakfast area was probably not able to serve the guests. After the complaint there was still a bit of momentum and it was partially refilled and it was enough to get full. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel for breakfast here
