Yet another lovely stay in this naturist hotel and unfortunately yet another room change. This is the third or fourth time I've stayed and each time there's been cause for me to move. This time it was the roof leaking and room flooding, as was the case previously, but at least the fan blade didn't fall out this time. This all said it has dramatically improved since the last time and it was extraordinary torrential rain and they gave me a room swap within a few hours and luckily the leak didn't touch any of my stuff. As always, the staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you apart from a couple of over officiatious lifeguards who stopped textile friends getting into the jacuzzi with costumes on even though some of the antics going on in the jacuzzi where being ignored. Sadly, the actual area seemed a lot quieter than my previous visits but that may be due to it being so early in the season. Overall, if you are going to Vera Playa I would definitely recommend the hotel as I've loved each stay for different reasons.

Fantastic 2nd time visit to PlayaVera Hotel. Saw many returning visitors from last year which was nice..so they are doing something right. The mix of people of all ages and nationalities was great to see getting involved in water polo and other fun. Enthusiastic animation team, friendly and helpful staff, good cleanliness, decent food, large room, comfortable bed, wonderful pool but most of all..a special ambience..keep it up!

The whole hotel was very clean, dated but that made it better in a way as very colonial , rooms were lovely and comfortable, all the hotel staff were lovely, the group of young animators were great, always happy put on great shows, Breakfast was very nice, good selection, had one evening meal but found it cheaper outside the hotel although as a buffet you can keep going back as much as you like so if it’s your thing then great, just one negative! could have done with another 20 parasols around the pool as all taken by about 7am and not enough to go around if you were a bit later than that. There are sun beds which are €13.50 a pair a day if you want to go on the beach and use them,

Didn’t really know what to expect when we booked here as previously our naturist experience was confined to beaches but so glad we did. The hotel is ideally situated on the beach so you can literally walk out the back entrance onto sand, at the front there’s a few decent bars and restaurants and a couple of ‘clubs’ for the more open minded. It’s fairly dated internally and the standard rooms really need a refresh to a more modern style but at the end of the day, we don’t go on holiday to sit in a room so they are perfectly usable, air conditioning and a fridge are really useful. The swimming pool is fab, large freeform and there are lots of sunbeds although despite the hotel policy (which they don’t enforce) these are often reserved, not even by guests getting up early, but by people reserving them for their whole stay by leaving towels and books etc, often they wouldn’t even come to sunbathe until the afternoon!, no idea why the hotel can’t remove everything at 10pm, it would soon stop? It’s also difficult to find sun given the mature palms so if you like shade you’ll love it here but there’s a sun terrace where you’ll get a lot more sunny spots. There’s a nice (although too hot) jacuzzi which sits around 14 people and an indoor pool which was a bit strange, maybe you want to swim without the sun beating down? It just seemed to be people sat around when we went in or parents with young kids. We chose Half Board although when we go again it will just be breakfast as the food isn’t good, breakfast was fine but the lunch/dinner choices and quality were awful, we really struggled to make a meal and often just had a tuna sandwich each day. Back to the breakfast, needs to be from 7am, it’s currently 8am and there’s often a queue by then, then they only have one hot counter doing eggs, it’s almost to order so there’s always a big queue, this is something they need to sort really. Animacion team do really well, it’s not my scene but they really work hard to keep guests entertained. The hotel is obviously naturist and this creates a wonderful relaxed accepting atmosphere, all genders and sexualities mingling in harmony but that’s what naturism is about. I’d love to see it being 24 hours like the rest of the zone but it’s still fantastic. I would highly recommend giving this place a go, we’ll certainly be back.

First stay. Arrival procedure by Olga was excellent. Smiling, friendly attentive and thoughtful. A credit to the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Lacked a little drawer space but adequate for me a solo visitor. Local supermarket provides most essential items if needed. Several restaurants near the hotel for evening dining. Useful bar, Broadway , with Mercedes serving, just a step from hotel opens 17.00 hours. Very friendly.

Ok stay. The hotel like most reviews mention is tired and definitely needs upgrade. I feel upgrade may not happen. While I don’t have actual proof it just seems like eventually this hotel will close or be purchased by someone else.During my 4 day stay not once did i see anyone trying to maintain hotel. No painting, no fixing unless absolutely necessary like when the hot tub needed the hose repaired. No money seems to be put into it. We had a superior room and while bed and view looked nice bathroom shower area not so nice. The shower hose leaked all over wall but the hotel was quick to fix. The bathroom does not have fan which fogs up room while showering. We left the door open when showering.Water temperature hard to adjust as handle on opposite side of shower. Pressure good but temperature goes from hot to cold frequently. Fridge is small. If i come again will try to get junior suite or apartment and lower floor. Room did not feel deluxe at all bc of bathroom The bathrooms definitely need renovation or at the very least clean the mold around the tub! Pool area busy. People save chairs and umbrellas. The beach chairs are easier to find on beach. Pool is awesome and great temperature. The indoor pool not as nice. It needs a lot of cleaning. Beach is nice but chairs are a bit far from ocean. The beach area itself starts getting run down and not nice as you walk south. There are c/o apartments nearby but one closed, the other did not look so great on outside. Entertainment staff good husband played archery and shooting daily at 11am. Flamenco night great! Not much to do other than read, pool, beach drink and eat. This is a quiet resort which is okay. If you want a party atmosphere this is not the place. If you are looking for an all inclusive and/or Caribbean/Mexico resort this is not the place either Only one bar for entire hotel. You have to get your own drinks no one comes by to take your order unless you are staying in presidential suite vip status. All inclusive is not really all inclusive . It doesn’t include everything. It would be nice if it was stated exactly what was included. It only includes breakfast lunch dinner in restaurant Only which is buffet style food. It does not include food in the bar pool restaurant. Limited drinks are also included.Again would be nice to know this before getting poured a beer with an extra surcharge. The surcharges not much 1.50 euros its the principle of not being transparent. The resort has Pepsi products not Coke. The food is okay but limited things we can eat. Husband can’t eat mushrooms and I can’t eat tuna due to allergies. We also don’t eat fish. Many dishes were fish. Even the pasta they either put tuna or mushrooms so we couldn’t eat it. I found breakfast and lunch to be better options for food instead of dinner. If I come again I would probably get a studio or apartment. I would probably also just do breakfast instead of all inclusive. There are restaurants around facilities within walking

Lovely stay. Staff nice and friendly. It is a fine hotel. The swimming pool and area 8s beautiful. The jacuzzi is lovely and warm. The swimming pools leads out to the naturist beach. Turn right, a few minutes walk, 2 great restaurants on the beach. The hotel bar serves delicious food and drinks served by lovely staff. There is super entertainment in the evenings in the hotel bar, music and dance. I had a lovely time. Will visit again. Kieran.
