After walking past numerous times over the years whilst staying in Seaview, we finally popped in, and what a hidden gem! Jane on reception was lovely and welcoming, and could not do enough for us, even giving us a tour of a few rooms before booking for future stays. The rooms were clean and modern, some with stunning views. Steve in the bar was very accommodating, so we stopped for a quick bite to eat too. Our server, Sophie, was really friendly, polite and chatty. Again, accommodating, and always had a smile on her face, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our service. We'll definitely booking a stay soon.

We were staying locally and called in without booking for evening meal. We were made very welcome and the food was excellent. A great choice and really good quality. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was good value for money and my friend and I really enjoyed.

The food quality and service at the Seaview Hotel are excellent, I particularly enjoy eating in the Pump Room bar where the fish and chips are the best I have tasted. They also offer a more extensive menu served either in the bar or the more formal restaurant. Look forward to returning again in the future.

3 night stay with my family to celebrate an anniversary. Couldn’t have been lovelier. Staff friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. Rooms were clean, modern and most importantly comfortable. Ate at both restaurants and food was amazing. Loved the lounge room to the front of the hotel. Obviously, as name suggests, great location. All in all 10/10

Delicious Sunday lunch, lovely selection of vegetables. Jake, who looked after us at our table, was polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. He is a credit to the hotel. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend. Will be back soon. From Maxine

My partner and I have just had a wonderful two nights at the Seaview Hotel. In sumary, a wonderful boutique hotel, with lovely and very comfortable accommodation, an excellent restaurant and bar and a superb location near the sea. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely team that worked there. Special mention to Brenda for serving our breakfast on both mornings with a huge smile and bags of personality!! We hope to come back soon. Thank you team Seaview!

Just back from an overnight stay at the Seaview. Room was wonderful, very comfy and with great views. Food very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always a sign of a great full English breakfast when black pudding is included! Decor really interesting.

One-night stay which was excellent. Room comfortable, clean and very well laid out and furnished. Bathroom modern, clean and also very good. Ground floor has a guest lounge, the main restaurant, a bistro restaurant (where breakfast is served) and a tap room bar - all very pleasant. Food to a very high standard, service very friendly and overall, it was far ahead of what we could have expected.
