This is an excellent hotel where my friend and I stayed as part of an itinerary walking in the Val D'Aosta. Unfortunately, the last village we were due to stay in was flooded, with a road collapse a few days before we were due to go. We were at the Hotel Wagneur at that point, and we were so pleased with the location- it's high up in the valley and we wanted to be trekking as high as we could go, and also, after just one day at the Wagneur, we realised the food was so good, it was a pleasure to stay on, and the staff found us the rooms we needed for the extra days, The food was excellent. Marco works very hard in the dining room, and seemed to be single handed some of the time. He could really do with some help, so service is a bit slow sometimes, but he was so polite and helpful to us we were fine with that. The food was superb- local dishes with local products, and very generous portions. On one particular day, another staff member, Fabio, took us in his car up the valley after breakfast so that we could start our walking higher up. They both also explained alternative walking routes to us as our itinerary had to change. We were so grateful for their help and their local knowledge of this beautiful area. Highly recommended and unforgettable. Thank you

Sono stato lì due notti, camere semplici e gestione familiare, ma veramente bello, tranquillità , natura e buon cibo hanno caratterizzato questi giorni, direi che c'è stata sia la Qualità che un prezzo molto onesto, Complimenti! Da ritornarci volentieri!

bellissima atmosfera nel villaggio, siamo stati accolti da una nevicata notturna, e subito fatti accomodare nella sala da pranzo. Cibo molto buono, porzioni generose, tipico valdostano senza divagazioni, apprezzabile la disponibilità verso i commensali vegetariani (ad esempio la zuppa valpellinese è fatta con brodo vegetale), con la possibilità di fare variazioni alle pietanze. Personale gentile e disponibile, consigliato.

I tempi di attesa sono stati molto lunghi, gli antipasti freddi sono arrivati dopo 50 minuti dal nostro arrivo, e tutte le altre pietanza sono state servite con altrettanto ritardo, nonostante nel ristorante ci fossero poche persone. Cibo buono (a parte la carne di agnello dura e la salsiccia cotta non a sufficienza, che ho chiesto venisse corta meglio), ma assolutamente non ottimo. Inoltre, all’interno del locale, e della cucina, gironzolava un cane di grossa taglia, cosa non del tutto igienica e rispettosa nei confronti di chi non ama la presenza degli animali in certi contesti. In aggiunta, ho chiesto al bancone del bar la cortesia per mia figlia di darmi del latte, da portare. Ebbene, circa 150ml di latte (a lunga conservazione, nemmeno fresco di alta qualità da) il titolare ha avuto la delicatezza di farcelo pagare (aggiungo ad un costo spropositato), nonostante avessimo appena saldato il conto di circa 95€. Poca attenzione, a mio avviso, rivolta al rapporto con il cliente.

ho prenotato in questo albergo e la camera era totalmente diversa da come la descrivono sul sito, stanza inaccettabile, piatto doccia usurato, lampade da cantiere, brandina di ferro vecchia e usurata che nemmeno negli ostelli è presente, la porta d'ingresso della camera e del bagno usurate e rovinate e la prima si chiudeva con difficoltà non merita di avere 2 stelle questo hotel e ha bisogno di molta manutenzione.

È uno splendido hotel con una vista mozzafiato. La camera era pulitissima e i letti erano molto confortevoli. Il personale era gentilissimo e ci ha consigliato diversi sentieri per le nostre escursioni. La colazione a buffet era fantastica e abbondante! Questa è un' esperienza che consiglierei a chiunque voglia rilassarsi dallo stress della vita moderna.

Ho prenotato la camera matrimoniale senza balcone, affidandomi alle foto sul sito, ho scritto una email per prenotare e ho contattato la struttura. Ho eseguito il bonifico totale. Al mio arrivo la camera era totalmente diversa dalle foto e dalla descrizione. Lampadario con fili penzolanti, prese elettriche rotte e al limite della sicurezza, lavandino e doccia con perdite di acqua, inoltre porta balcone rotta e balcone inagibile in quanto pericolante. Phon con cartello "guasto", specchio appeso con filo di cotone. Nessun arredamento alpino come da descrizione e da foto sul sito. Facendo presente ai gestori le diverse problematiche, non se ne sono curati. L'unica loro risposta è che ho scelto la camera economy, quando sul sito non c'era nessuna distinzione tra le camere.
