Perfect stay and good memories - I will return again this place

This a peaceful haven and absolutely delightful! 4 of us stayed here for 4 nights and thought it was lovely. Yes it’s quirky and no it’s not like the “big” hotels but the rooms were lovely and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful both at the reception and the wonderful breakfast staff! A lovely setting and nice to get away from the business of Venice.

We really enjoyed staying here! It’s hard to review this hotel and compare it to other hotels. It’s quite unique and quirky. We loved it but others in our tour didn’t as much. It has a ton of charm and interesting decor but isn’t like a modern hotel. It has multiple levels (even in our room) and various stairways to guest rooms. A nice variety of sitting rooms, inside and outside. There are two separate buildings with guest rooms and their style/decor are very different from each other. The main building seems older and is more eclectic than the somewhat newer (yet still unique) other building across the courtyard. The service was great and so was the breakfast buffet and dinner. If you want something with European charm and if you enjoy different experiences, then stay here. If you prefer modern, sterile and minimal character (like most hotels in America) then this isn’t the place for you. It’s in a nice neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach. It’s very quiet and safe, away from the craziness of the main island of Venice itself. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The worst hotel I have ever been to. I came here with my family to celebrate my 18th birthday. I arrived the day before my birthday, shortly after checking in I attempted to connect to their wifi since I needed to RESVP to confirm I will be attending my high school graduation before the deadline which was the next day… this is when I noticed the wifi dose not work. I brought this to the attention of the front desk lady at 11am she said around it will be on by 3pm at the latest.. 3pm comes and still no wifi. I tell the lady I would like a refund now and will change hotels and she assures me it will be on by tomorrow morning (the deadline for my graduation and my 18th birthday) and states that the entire island had no wifi at the moment (which I later found out was a complete lie). She says she will be the one working tomorrow and if the wifi is not on by then she will refund my family for the full 3 nights we have booked… The next day arrives (my 18th birthday) and still no wifi, I am unable to see birthday wishes from friends and family and now will not be able to attend my high school graduation since I didn’t have access to wifi to RESVP by the deadline. I go to the front desk to see the lady is infact not working and she had lied, instead there is a man working. I explain the situation to him and what the previous receptionist had said… he refuses to do anything and is overall very rude. Finally he tells us we can have a refund and the only way for a refund is through the website so we agree to this and check out of our three night stay after the first night, to a different, cleaner and waterfront hotel which was extremely accommodating. Our new hotel actually informed me that they have had no issues with wifi when Albergó hotel said the entire island was having wifi issues… which is when I then realized I had been being lied to. Also in another review the hotels response is that the wifi came back on the day we left… this is not true we had booked 2 rooms with them and only canceled one for the better hotel we switched to, so our other family members were still at the Albergo hotel. Our family members who were still there informed us they didn’t have wifi the entire 3 day duration of their stay. It is extremely unfortunate the lack of respect and honesty the workers at Albergó have for their guests, it was a really sad birthday finding out I cannot attend my high school graduation, on a day that was meant to be so special. Once we arrived home from our vacation we tried to set up the refund both workers guaranteed us.. it’s has been almost a year and we have reached out many times for a refund yet we have received nothing despite their promises. Do not advertise you have wifi if you do not, and if there is an issue with a feature you claim to have it is your duty to accommodate the customer. The hotel was also underwhelming and dusty, I could go on but this review is about their lack of costumer service and straight out lies.

This is a beautiful and unique hotel. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful particularly the wonderful lady who managed the breakfast buffet each morning. Great experience, highly recommend.

We loved it here!! Beautiful little property with great atmosphere for the breakfast buffet. We were very pleasantly surprised to know that the hotel rate included a speedboat to Murano and Venice. Great overall service. About a 15 minute walk to the Vaporetto. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is very old. Having said this, it was very quaint with nicely decorated rooms. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. It had a small refrigerator and a safe. The staff were professional and helpful. The food was quite good. However, the air conditioning system is a joke. I was prepared for it not to get the room cold but I expected it to get the room somewhat cool. When we returned to the room after a hot, busy day in Venice Island, I was looking forward to a shower and a cool room. The room was actually warmer than the air outside. I took the shower and then was soaked in sweat for half of the night until the outside temperature cooled enough for the room to cool. The hotel made noises about getting a technician in to "adjust" the system the next morning and we were assured that the AC would be fine the next even upon our return. To our dismay this was not the case and we spent a second very uncomfortable night. Again, I didn't expect cold but the room temperature at night was at least 27 celcius, and I'm sure that it was higher. It was stifling. For this reason I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I will never stay here again.

This is a two star hotel at best. It advertises wifi which it does not deliver. Scroll though other reviews and you will see this happens often despite what the front desk may tell you. The frontdesk staff even lied and said the internet was out in the whole area. I checked. It was not. I switched hotels the next morning and everyone was much happier. Also, note that this is a hotel that will not refund money. Do not pay any money up front to them. We checked out after one night and they would not refund for the following two nights. This was after the front desk staff woman said they would refund the following two nights if the internet was fixed by the next day. A refund for the following two nights was refused when we checked out. This hotel must be really suffering from a lack of customers so they feel justified in keeping two nights worth of money for services not rendered. Albergo Quattro Fontane has a nice garden as seen in the photos. However, the bedrooms are tired, dingey and stale. I strongly recommend booking at the far superior hotels on the beach, for the same price, which include bright bedrooms with a sea view, a balcony, a comfortable bed, a modern washroom and shower, superior air conditioning, friendly staff that are always at the front desk 24/7, a delicious breakfast and functioning internet.
