Hotel San Geremia

Stayed here for a few days whilst visiting the city. Great location- 10 min walk from the bus and train station. We arrived early so dumped our bags off and went exploring. Checked in about 1:30- room very small and looked out into a brick wall so very little natural light. Kettle provided but no tea or coffee etc and paper cups . Keep the window shutters closed or your room will be full of mosquitos ! Hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants so no need to wander far if you don’t want to. Rialto bridge 10 mins away and vaperetto stops about 5 min walk . No food offered by the hotel but there is a communal Fridge and microwave next to the luggage room . Reception staff great and very knowledgeable.

My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel San Geremia in Venice and would highly recommend it to other travellers. The hotel is very clean and tidy, well located a short walk away from the railway station and water buses. The staff were really friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions during our stay. Many thanks for the great service!

Wondering how much things have changed since many of the negative reviews are a few years old... either way, I had a fine stay. The hotel is budget-to-mid-range in price, and the building matches this. It's very slim on amenities, but it had everything I needed. Wifi, ac, and a working shower. Bed left a bit to be desired, and I would have enjoyed some vanity space in the bathroom, but I survived. Staff were polite and helpful when needed and the location was easy when it came to arriving and departing (close to terminal/buses).
