Locanda Casa Querini

Locanda Casa Querini is a gem in the centre of Venice. Close to water taxis and San Marco Square. Patty, Francesca, Lolo and Cate were very accommodating and helpful. Morning breakfasts in the little square was a treat. The Locanda is beautiful and quaint. The 3 of us were comfortable in our room, which was very quiet. Beds were comfortable. I slept so well. We will be back!!

Tucked away in a perfect location, easy to get anywhere! A cozy, spotless, lovely Italian style B&B! A great breakfast also! However it is the people. Patrizia, Caterina, Lorenzo and Francesca that will make us continue to stay there every trip we take to Venice! It is family owned and that truly makes the difference for us. They were all warm, personable, attentive and welcoming! They became friends. You feel like you are in Italy!

Nice, small family operated B&B close to St. Mark's, but away from the crowds. Caterina and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts. They had suggestions for restaurants, and tours, and were a pleasure to work with. Easy to get to from the Alilaguna dock. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend,

The communication was excellent, and the accommodations clean, neat and well taken care of. The location is ideal! Very close to San Marco square and you are provided with all the information about water buses, events, and significant locations. Enjoyed the owner, her son, and sister. They truly care about making sure you have a good experience ! Breakfast is a must!

The location is excellent. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Piazza San Marco and all the shops and restaurants nearby. It's also only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The inn is in a quiet campo (square) that feels very private and away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. The room was immaculately clean and fairly spacious. I don't have a photo, but it looked just like the one in the listing here on Tripadvisor. The bathroom was small but functional. You may want to bring a small portable fan with you to help control the temperature in case the air conditioning is not turned on yet. Breakfast was very satisfactory with a nice assortment of protein, yogurt, breads, cake, and, of course, cappuccino. The family that operates the inn are wonderful hosts - warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. If you are looking for luxury with a 24 hour doorman, concierge and lots of extra fancy things, this is not the place for you. But, if you value comfort, cleanliness, location and good hospitality, I highly recommend Locanda Casa Querini. My family and I would absolutely stay there again on our next trip to Venice.

A quaint family owned and run accommodation close to San Marco Square ( no steps if you get water taxi here from train station etc) Outstanding service from very personable staff and so very close to sone exceptional restaurants recommended by the locals. Please be aware that there is no lift but only one floor. The room was clean and functional, the breakfast delicious and location although lovely and quiet - close to Dojes Palace or a water taxi to take you where you need to go. A brilliant place to unwind and take in Venetian life.
