The setting of this hotel on the Grand Canal, near the Rialto bridge can’t be beat. Our room, which was one of their lower tiers, Superior Double Room, 105, could use an update. It wasn’t dirty but the bed is a little hard, and the furnishings are a bit old. I think there is a difference between great service and over the top service. Don’t get me wrong they treat you well, but it almost feels like too much. If you want to stay at a hotel where they always know what you’re doing, or will stop you to make suggestions every time you leave then this is the place for you. If you want to almost go unnoticed then don’t stay here. They will know your business 24/7.
