When we reached, the reception told us that due to unforeseen circumstances,the room that we've booked ( with shared toilet)wasn't available and he offered us another room with private toilet with extra xx€ ( I forgot how much was it) but I refused to pay extra. In the end the reception gave us a free upgrade.
It was written that I should had paid 1.x euro at the hotel but the receiption asked to pay 2€ without giving me a receipt
The room was clean. The location was good. Close to eating places and supermarkets and train station. Travellers with luggages should choose this location. Facing the canal and station is at the back, turn left and after some minutes of walks the hotel is found.

Good points
When I asked if I could print a train ticket, they were happy to oblige. However, the print quality was not good.
Bad points
There were flies flying around in the room, and there were a lot of stains, so it wasn't very clean.

My family & I needed somewhere to shower & freshen up before exploring the city of Venice after a sweaty 10-hour train ride. Very kind and understanding staff that doesn’t make you feel like a fool for being a foreigner. With regard to amenities, the hotel has a powerful A/C unit in every room, free, fast Wi-Fi, and is very close to the train station & within a couple minutes from the center of the city by foot. It was recently remodeled (July 2024) if that matters to you. The hotel staff also let us leave our heavy luggage with them in a locked room for the whole day while my family & I were out getting go know the city. With all that being said, if you’re looking for a place to do a quick stop to freshen up or just somewhere to spend the night without breaking the bank, this might be a great destination for you.

I would give it a 5 if it weren't for the hike up the stairs to what us American's call the second floor. Our room was very nice, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of shelf space. There wasn't much of a view out of the window, only the wall of the next building. The king size bed didn't have a sheet, only a comforter. It was too hot using it and too cold not using it. The people running the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Our stay was alright. The first room we were given was not the room we thought we had paid for, the beds were camp beds, it didn't seem very clean and there were dead mosquitoes all over the walls (and alive ones flying about). We spoke to the desk clerk and explained that we were not happy and he did offer us a different room. We took the second option but it still wasn't what we had paid for. There was a sink in the room and it was much cleaner, the bed was a sturdy structure (though was 2 single mattresses on a double frame). There was a sink in the room and the two bathrooms were shared between the three annex rooms. The area surrounding was great very central and right near the train and bus station, plus lots of restaurants and shops, we were just very disappointed at the room quality. WiFi was available but seemed to stop working if too many people were using at the same time. On the plus side, it did make us spend most of our time out of the hotel and exploring the city!

STAY AWAY - BUGS!! I booked this hotel for June 19-21 via Priceline/booking.com. When I arrived to my room (they moved me to another building down the street) there were at least 30 dead mosquitos on the walls (I have pictures). We disposed of six more before we couldn’t take the bites anymore. Called Priceline and they contacted the hotel and the hotel refused to refund me. It was myself and my two children. I have stayed 30 nights in Europe (all via priceline) in the last 12 months. An attendant showed up and plugged in two "vape" machines. They literally said "vape" on them. The fumes were so bad, and my kids suffer from asthma, so we had to leave. There were no rooms last minute in Venice, so I had to spend $300/night to stay 30 mins away at the airport. It was really sad. The owners still refuse to refund my money, and Priceline is only offering a 25 euro credit. Stay away from here!! And stay away from Priceline!!

From the reviews I was not fully convinced, I was the victim of the booking trick that disappears like a sleight of hand. After making the online booking (I attached the photo) to be sure I also called and they confirmed that the booking was successful. When we arrived at the hotel, we realized that shortly before they had sent us the communication that the booking had been cancelled (they didn't even make a phone call to warn us). Seized by anger and despair we asked for explanations, according to them there was a problem with the online payment (it should be noted that I have never had and do not have any kind of problem of the kind), obviously the proposed solution is another room at a price almost doubled. After a heated discussion, both to not give a cent to these people (I would have slept on the street instead 😅) and given that this type of structure apparently seems not very reassuring we went to another hotel, totally not recommended.
