My husband and I traveled from Texas, US to Venice for the first time to celebrate our retirement and 40th wedding anniversary. After a long flight, challenging water bus journey (because it was all new to us), we arrived at the hotel we’d booked months in advance only to find the AC wasn’t working. We searched for another hotel and thankfully, we found Friendly Venice Suites! We called to see if there was a room available and to get directions—getting around Venice proved challenging! The owner, Giacomo, met us at the statue just outside the hotel and walked us there personally. We were so relieved to feel cool air when we walked in! Then, we were blown away by the accommodations of our room which was not just a room, but a beautiful suite! It was such a nice surprise! The room had every comfort you could imagine. Giacomo was also very gracious in helping us find things and giving directions. If you ever find yourself in Venice, don’t hesitate to stay at Friendly Venice Suites! You will be well cared for! Out of a 5 star recommendation, I’d give it a 10. Five just isn’t enough. J. Austin

It has been a few days not to forget. Seeing and visiting every corner of Venice... its canals, its bridges and its rides on all types of boats. Each corner and building more striking than the last... the unrivaled St. Mark's Square, the Rialto or its small streets and canals. You have to return yes or yes. The hotel and its room are spectacular. Giacomo is a wonderful person, always attentive to everything. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Ottima soluzione se siete alla ricerca della comodità che può offrire un’hotel - senza servizi di ristorazione e spa. Check in veloce, ampia camera con vista canale, arredata in stile veneziano con pratico bagno e set di cortesia con buoni prodotti. La posizione è fantastica, in Campo Santo Stefano, a due passi dal ponte dell’Accademia e dalle principali linee di Valoretto. Rialto o San Marco distano solo a 15 minuti a piedi. Lukas hat vor mir bewertet, seine Beschreibung stimmt punkt für punkt: super netter empfang, grosszügige zimmer mit 4m Raumhöhe im alten venezianischen Stil: Holzdecke, Stofftapete. Dusche wie aus dem weltraum, so modern und super sauber, sehr sehr sehr ruhig. Pünktlich morgens um exakt die ausgemachte Uhrzeit klopft C. und liefert den Kaffee aufs Zimmer. Location sowieso perfekt, 300m rundherum ist irgendwie alles was man sucht. Ein Gästeparadies! NB: Kanal-View kann man sich sparen, das ist nicht der Canale Grande sondern ein mini mini bach.
