Hotel Heureka

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Heureka. It is an old building with high ceilings and other cool features carefully and beautifully renovated and decorated. It is in Canneraggio away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice. It is an oasis of peace and refinement. You have to walk a little further to get to the city center but there is a lovely restaurant district nearby. The best part was meeting the hotel and kitchen managers especially Marco and Beata. They were so attentive helpful and kind and their recommendations and tips made our trip. I highly recommend Heureka and hope to go back myself one day.

Our stay at Hotel Heureka was nothing short of magnificent! The hotel is magical and filled with so much history. Every room is unique and different. The staff was attentive to our every need and the hotel is located in a quiet residential part of Venice just a 10 minute walk from the busy tourist areas. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!

Simply outstanding. The location is wonderful. On a quiet canal off the beaten path but within walking distance to everything. I thought the location was simply perfect. So glad my travel agent talked me out of staying on the grand canal (which is a short 5 minute walk from hotel). The hotel itself is beautiful. Just 10 rooms. The main lobby was lovely, and the individual lobbies on each floor were great. Our room was very nice. Breakfast in the garden was delightful. As a surprise, we were given a spritz tutorial our first evening at the bar. A nice touch. The staff was so friendly. Special shout out to Andrea. Just a great boutique hotel.

A magnificent boutique hotel off the noisy byways of Venice. This hidden gem is easily accessible by water taxi from the airport and provide a jumping off point that makes it easy to get to the popular spots in Venice without being in the midst of the crowds. The staff was amazingly attentive and exceeded our expectations in every way. Even the night manager made me a coffee before we headed out on our 4 a.m. water taxi. The weather was not ideal, but when it is, I expect the courtyard to be a tranquil oasis for guests and a nice retreat when you need a break. The interior decorations are luscious and comfortable. You really need to see it to understand. Breakfast was more than ample and the staff did everything they could to make your time at the Hotel Heureka a memorable one.

I loved my stay at Hotel Heureka! The staff there were beyond kind and helpful to me as a solo traveler. I ate dinner in the garden the first night and it was the best meal of my trip. I felt so spoiled and taken care of during my trip. They think of everything! The surrounding Cannaregio neighborhood is charming and quiet. I found a couple great wine bars and felt so peaceful returning to this place after a busy day in Venice. This spot is a home run! You'll love it.

Simultaneously old-world-elegant and clever-stylishly appointed, i cannot imagine a more desirable boutique hotel in Venice. We loved the location away from the fracas, the service was exceptional, the food was incredible. It felt private and personal. And there were so many charming common rooms— i wish i could have spent more time just hanging out in the hotel, lingering with some manufactured purpose in each salon.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter weekend as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. Not only is the building stunning but it has a lovely garden too. During our stay every member of staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful, from booking us restaurants to giving us directions to all sorts of hidden gems around Venice. The bedroom was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you might need and the breakfasts are amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel away from the hordes of tourists. It was like staying in your rich friends’ palazzo. The service was warm and helpful, and there were many common spaces to use. Zero negative comments about the facilities or staff. There were many lively restaurants and bars nearby. It is a fun area to stay in, particularly in the evenings. I would say the location and hotel are better suited for visitors who have either been to Venice before or those who want to visit at a leisurely pace. The days that we did many tourist attractions we logged over 20,000 steps. It’s a 25-30 minute walk from San Marco plaza and Dorsoduro. We were busy walking back and forth and didn’t make full use of the hotel - an extra day to relax and enjoy would have been nice.
