Maison Boutique Al Redentore

Located on a little island across the Venice mainland. There is no shuttle arrangement, and there is a fee for the ferry that goes across. Hotel itself is clean and quiet and has very nice breakfast.

If you don't mind the morning ferry commute then this hidden gem is a wonderful way to experience a less busy side of Venice. The hotel decor is clean and crips and the gardens next door are stunning. We would recommend exploring some of the restaurants on the island too, as we found them to be great quality and with wonderful views back to Venice.

This is one of those rare hotels for which all the reviews you read.. are true. An oasis of rest after a visit to crowded Venice. Véry friendly and helpfull staff, a beautiful hotelroom, the whole hotel is very clean, excellent breakast till 11.00 am (!!) Will 100% return here!

Our group of 6 people stayed at Maison Boutique Al Redentore for two nights in October and could not have been more pleased! This newly converted hotel from monastery has first class accommodations, great location, is spotless, modern and has an extraordinary staff. Marie the hotel Manager should be extremely proud of her staff. All the housekeeping, kitchen and front desk staff were extremely helpful arranging transportation, helping with forgotten items and making sure we had a group table arranged for us. Very special thanks to Tony and Mattieu at the Front Desk and Marco our server for a wonderful stay. The hotel has a private dock in back where private water taxis can shuttle you to the airport, the cruise port or just through Venice. The Vaporetto stops are just a few minutes walk away. There are wonderful restaurants, shops and bank machines close by. This hotel is located on the island of Guidecca a short boat ride across the water from Venice. The views along the waterfront to St. Marks are beautiful and it's nice to escape the crush of people in Venice to your quiet island with just the friendly locals to relax. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay here. Giudecca Island is great because it’s not crowded like San Marco but has plenty of good bars and restaurants. The hotel is so close to the Vaporetto stop you can travel anywhere very easily. It’s a new hotel, with stunning design and everything is pristine. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Before arriving they helped us via email with transport queries. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us. The breakfast was fresh and lots of choice. The bed was the best I’ve ever slept in. It was also one of the cheaper options surprisingly. Would definitely recommend.
