Firstly don't be misled by the photo on the website. The Manoir is seriously dilapidated on the outside including the grounds and although not yet open the pool was not looking too sparkling. Check in was 5-7.30pm. we arrived at 5, no one around. Called the number and madame advised on her way be 15 mins so it was actually 5.30 by time we checked in. No apology. Room was as per photos. However a lot of loose tiles on floor. Dining room pleasant and dinner tasty but not worth the €25 euros., however convenient. Half wine list not available. Breakfast adequate but had to ask for milk and on opening a jam jar green mould on top. Madame was not overly welcoming or thanked us for staying infact very little forth coming. Would we stay again definitely not. Could be such a lovely destination stop but has been neglected and as I said previously outside pictures are misleading. Sadly I omitted to take any.

There are a number of rooms in the main house but we chose the dovecote and it didn't disappoint. It is well designed whilst keeping the architecture unspoilt. A lot of attention has been put into the furnishings. The hosts are welcoming. A large selection of food is displayed for breakfast. You may join the table d'hote for dinner. This is more like a ferme-auberge.

A rustic charming hotel, set in peaceful countryside. Great for a one night overnight. We were greeted by a gorgeous huge old retriever sleeping at the entrance, then climbed the ancient staircase to our attic room , which was huge, as was the bathroom- with a shower!, a big improvement on the small bathroom in the modern Mercure we had just come from. Everything was clean and comfortable. Madame cooked the dinner and the night we were there, we shared the restaurant with a large french family party and a charming English couple. The food was rustic and local, and delicious. If you like quirky and rustic you will love this place.

Very disappointing in terms of the table d'hôtes (25€ for a meal without starter, average main course, decent dessert), decent room but without a lock!!!, and very expensive for the comfort offered. Very very average breakfast.... Manor house overall very dilapidated (windows broken and repaired with tape etc....) Only one advantage: Very quiet environment!!!!

Very unpleasant owner, no garden, the surroundings of the house littered with enormous peacock droppings, broken bed base, no locks on the bathroom doors, no towels, no dishcloths, no oil in the kitchen... Kicked out at 10:00 (zero zero). Hell!
