Holiday Inn Express Paris - Velizy Reviews

I did not stay in this hotel because we have a problem with visa application. We try to cancel our booking but the hotel refused to refund the payment.

The location is remote and the price is cheap, but it is inconvenient to drive into the city and public transportation. It is close to the road, so it is sometimes noisy. It is close to a large supermarket, which is convenient for shopping.

A spacious and clean hotel room. A comfortable bed and service that met my expectations. I recommend !

First of all the car park is very tight to enter and on arriving in the basement found it to be an oil and water skid pan and nearly crashed into a concrete pillar Reported the danger to desk. Answer yes they know it is an oil or petrol leak from a garage.above Surely a DANGEROUS thing Returned next day and no change again complaint, yes they know about it Third day gave up and parked on road. Very tight a d dangerous garage. The room was first night serviced without changing the sheets Second night room not serviced at all Desk staff said they had been busy. It was now 6pm and no staff Totally unacceptable I have been ihg member for 20 yrs and worse experience ever

Stayed here on business for 3 nights. Had an average experience. I had a room facing the inner court, so not to much outside noise. Because rooms are arranged in a circe the room layout was somewhat quirky. Could not watch the tv from the bed as it was positioned under a strong angle. Not much room for storage. Breakfast was fine and th hotel offers some drinks and snacks for the evening. Surrounding area is awful. Some dining options in the Velizy shopping mall. Otherwise it’s better to get a cab to Bolongne.

This hotel is just a walking distance to Westfield Velizy 2 and tram/bust stops. There are nearby restaurants e.g. McDonalds. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The room is clean, quite small for 3 of us but hey we just sleep here and spend the whole day out. Breakfast is great for me who eats light breakfast. In general, the hotel is clean and I see hardworking staff. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in a quiet area but near to Paris and Versailles Palace.

Good stay at this compact hotel with everything that I needed covered in a simple and efficient way. Room was standard holiday inn, not extravagant but had all the necessary things needed for a business overnight. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was mainly continental, not expansive but just what I needed. Staff really friendly and accommodating. All in all, a reliable stay.

we took a weekend to go to paris and chose the Holiday inn express Velizy hotel to stay as we didn't want to return home late, we arrived at the hotel at night and were surprised by a rude, bad-tempered receptionist who at all times expressed nervousness. we had a setback with one of the reservations, which made the receptionist more nervous and altered when talking to us, putting his finger in our face, saying that we were wasting his time, and that we were to blame for having 3 people in line waiting for service , at no time did he try to hide the unwillingness he had to see us there, he tried to argue with us and debate, but we were not exhausted, because we knew what measures should be taken. the receptionist who helped us in the morning was extremely kind and prompt, apologizing for the situation that had occurred, we left the hotel on Sunday morning extremely dissatisfied but very happy to know that there are still good people like this receptionist who was there in the morning. nous avons pris un week-end pour aller à Paris et avons choisi l'hôtel Holiday Inn Express Velizy car nous ne voulions pas rentrer tard, nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel le soir et avons été surpris par un réceptionniste désagréable et de mauvaise humeur qui du tout parfois exprimé de la nervosité. Nous avons eu un incident avec l'une des réservations, ce qui a rendu le réceptionniste plus nerveux et a changé lorsqu'il nous a parlé, nous mettant le doigt devant le visage en disant que nous perdions son temps et que nous étions responsables d'avoir 3 personnes en file d'attente. en attente du service, à aucun moment il n'a caché son refus de nous y voir, il a essayé de discuter et de débattre avec nous, mais nous n'étions pas épuisés, car nous savions quelles mesures il fallait prendre. La réceptionniste qui nous a aidé le matin était extrêmement gentille et serviable, s'excusant de la situation qui s'était produite, nous avons quitté l'hôtel dimanche matin extrêmement insatisfaits mais très heureux de savoir qu'il y a encore de bonnes personnes comme cette réceptionniste qui était là ce matin-là .

Very good and nice hotel located outside the center of Paris but with connection to it through Public Transportation (Tram/Bus), in brief we had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, breakfast is good with fresh options, the reception people are nice (especially Alice who provided us with advice to enjoy Paris). The neiberhood is calm, more into a business area, and we felt safe, there are few options like a mall and Pizza restaurants and Caffee.

We stayed here because it was convenient when we were visiting Versailles. We were on a road trip so were happy it had parking. The parking was under the hotel & it was tight getting in. Currently there is construction was it was slightly difficult to find the way in. We ended up missing the turn the 1st time and had to go around again. The rooms are small and have showers only but the rooms did have great working A/C. There is a McDonalds, KFC and cafe very close by. Also some shopping

A one night stay on our way back to the UK, and glad we weren't staying longer. Room was quite cramped with peeling veneer, wonky bedside table, loose shower fitting and no access to wi-fi. On the plus side, the location was good and surprisingly quiet, the bed comfortable, and there was a large shopping centre nearby with plenty of restaurants.

Our group of four stayed here for the European Cup final. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and all the staff really helpful and courteous. The hotel is not in central Paris but suited our needs perfectly as we drove from Liverpool and there was ample free parking nearby, thus avoiding the ridiculous traffic and parking fees in central Paris. It is a 10 minute walk through the business area to the tram stop which takes you to the metro/rail connection into central Paris. There are a number of bars in the business area, we stopped for drinks after a day out sightseeing finishing off in the hotel bar. My wife and daughter felt really safe at this hotel and during the walk to and from the tram stop, all in all a very enjoyable stay at Velizy, except for the result.

The hotel is located in an industrial area and is a bit hard to reach due to one-way streets (due to construction?). The person at the lobby was very friendly, the room was OK and is in the latest HIE style. The WIFI does what it needs to do, the bathroom was clean and functional. Breakfast was good, with good croissants (hey, you are in France, this should be good!), and reasonable coffee. What was a disaster is the garage. They have a garage, but this one is build for mini cars. It starts with a very sharp turn that was for my car very challenging (I drive a car that is about 5 meter long and 2 wide). Next, there is a new gate that is so narrow I had to fold the outer mirrors in order to be able to pass. On top of that, the route is extremely narrow with high sidewalks that are ready to damage your alloy wheels. I don't understand new garages are still build like this. This costs the hotel one star in my rating.
