This review covers the hotel rather than the restaurant, for which I have written a separate review. The hotel itself is excellent. We had two separate rooms and both were excellent. The standard is good and we had a good sleep. The breakfast is excellent. All very fresh and comprehensive. The breakfast room overlooking the vineyards gets off your day to a lovely start and the white chocolate mouse is just wonderful.

The Auberge has comfortable modern rooms and an amazing restaurant. Dinner was a delight to the eye and every dish was amazing. It is worth the short detour off the motorway when travelling south to the Mediterranean. The attention to detail and wonderful staff make this a fantastic experience

A well thought out blend of accommodation and dinning in a region with a lot to see and do. The staff go about their duties with a reserved efficiency. The food is of a very high standard with regard to the customers likes as well as what is in season. Our stay was memorable.

The rooms are lovely. The meal was delicious. Be sure to find out what drinks are included and their price. We were given a sparkling wine drink we thought was complimentary, if we did not like and it cost us 12 euros each. Explanations in English were a bit lacking. There is very little in the town.

Our highest recommendation for the Auberge de Clochemerle. We were taken care of with the utmost consideration and thoughtfulness. The restaurant is superb, with impeccable service, and a beautiful pairing of the food and wine.

Great food, great service, great location. The restaurant is first class and a good reason alone for a visit. The rest of the package also measures up and the quaint, quirky village is fun. We certainly will book again if we are in the area.

The hotel is situated in a small and charming village in a hilly landscape with vineyards almost everywhere. This is a very good location for trips in the Beaujolais area. Either by foot, bicycle or car.

We made a stop on our way to Paris from Côté d’Azur. The hotel was not 3 star, should be 4 star. Our dinner in the nice restaurant was amazing. We choosed the menu with 8 courses and the wine suggestions which were offered. Everything so good and the staff was very friendly. A very nice breakfast before checking out. We enjoyed everything! Thank you!

Belle découverte du terroir. Découverte de Clochemerle avec sa coopérative et un viticulteur local. Accueil chaleureux qui ont permis des échanges. Repas le soir au restaurant excellent. Petit déjeuner très complet avec un personnel discret mais attentionné... Nous avons profité du SPA +++
