Rating Room No. 1 At the beginning of December we rented a room in the supposed 3 star hotel. The 3 guest rooms are located above the restaurant of the same name, "Weißenfelder". The rooms are very spartan with old, worn real wood furniture. When we booked through HRS we had booked a double room with a double bed. Friendly welcome on arrival and handover of the room key by the chef of the associated restaurant. When we entered the room we discovered that it had 2 single beds. After we complained we were assigned another room that had a double bed. The room and the bathroom were very small. Apart from a bed, a bedside table and a small side table with a TV, there was also a small wardrobe and a small chest of drawers with drawers. The large patio door had no curtain. There was no chair or table at all. The paint was peeling off all over the door of the tiny bathroom. In addition, the bathroom had mold on the door frame and in the shower. The biggest drawback is the bed... When you lie down in the bed, you automatically roll into the middle because the base is apparently broken. If you press lightly on the mattress at the headboard, it moves 10 - 15 cm up and down with the entire base. This means that a hollow forms in the middle of the bed, into which you inevitably slide when you lie in bed. The next day we told the service staff about the condition of the bed and asked for a remedy. We were then assured that someone would look at it and fix it. When we returned in the late afternoon, we were told that the bed was completely fine. In addition, it was only a single room and not a double room. The chef had also told us this the day before - but this was not the case. We then politely made it clear that it was unreasonable to spend another 6 nights in the bed and that if nothing could be done, we would unfortunately have to find other accommodation. The tone of the staff then became much more unfriendly. Then another person intervened who treated us in a completely snooty and condescending manner. We were then told that there were no other rooms available. My wife and I then drove to other hotels in the area and finally found one that still had a room available. When we returned to the Weißenfelder, we started packing. As we were bringing the first pieces of luggage to the car, the lady from the staff came and asked what we were doing here, whether we were leaving. I said yes. The tone of this lady then changed abruptly. I was snapped at in a loud, very unfriendly tone that she had been making sure that we got another room the whole time and now that this was possible, we were leaving.... Unfortunately, we had
