I was very disappointed. I was really looking forward to visiting the resort because from the online photos it looked like a lovely hotel perched high on the cliff with nice facilities. Unfortunately the reality is a different story. The whole property is severely run-down. The pool and bar area look like they haven’t had any work done to them since the 1980’s. The inclinator was not working most of the time, as it needed a rest to not overheat motors. And when it does run, it is smelly, hot and a very loud and rough ride. The bar below the inclinator was derelict. The pool and beach chairs were very old disgusting. The round pool near the restaurant was not being used. With a little refit this could be a great adults only area, with a nice bar and some good music. The main pool was green, and had a feeling of a cheap run down public pool rather than an exclusive cliff top resort pool. The layout of the hotel does not make sense, you take an elevator up to then have to take more stairs up and then down again, it’s like a maze. It has potential to be a great resort with some work, but as it is now I would not recommend it to anyone.

A big hotel with clean rooms! There are many halls nearby! The hotel waiters are enthusiastic about helping travelers. Most importantly, it is close to the station, and it is especially convenient to travel to and from Milan! I have lived three times and love it every time!

L'hotel è recente e le camere ben curate, buona la pulizia generale e gentilissimi alla reception...abbiamo scelto la camera panoramica ma la vista mare non è un granché oscurata in.parte da un brutto casermone davanti ; inoltre il mare in questo tratto è costeggiato di strutture portuali bruttine da vedersi...non è poi tornato il conto tra quanto pagato al sito Trip.com e ciò che era segnato in fattura...

Super recommended hotel! Excellent location compared to the station and the centre. Equipped with all the comforts: swimming pool with children's games, game park, kitchen available to customers, water coffee corner and free fruit all day. Simple, comfortable and clean. This staff is really nice and available! To return to us!

The outside of the building is a ”fine example” of 1980's architecture, i.e. grim! Our room was on the first floor, level with some ”feature” triangles in the roof, which served no purpose at all other than to spoil the view of the harbour! Upon entering reception the feel is very opulent. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming...but we were checking in around 10pm (that being the time our flight had landed). We were rather hoping for some food, but the kirchen closed at 10pm, so all we were offered was a ”Cheese Toastie” (which, although very welcoming, did rather strike me that the Hotel was not ”in tune” with flight times and the potential for guests to be checking in and not wanting to have to find a restaurant outside the hotel at that time of the night! The room was large, but had the air of a Hotel Room which had seen nearly 40 years of good servbice, wtihout a great deal of care and attention taken to its upkeep. For example, the built-in wardrobe/cupboard door did not open properly, there was a large scratch on the ”feature” wood panelling around the room and the tile grouting in the shower was black with mould in places. BUT...on the plus side, the air-conditioning worked...and was not too noisey, the room was big enough for the two of us. The bed was large (albeit a big ”squishy” for my liking and there was a kettle/coffee pod machine so we could make our own drinks. We were there for 5 nights, so it is important - in my book - that if you're payng those kind of prices that the room is perfect...It wasn't really perfect. Similarly, because of its location right next door to the Aquarium, there were a large number of small children there, obviously from rich families who were not massively adept at controlling them. We never ate uin the restaurant in the evening, but did take our drinks onto the terrace one evening, where lots of diners had booked a table outside. A famly with three children under 5 then arrived and they continued to scream, run about the place and generally make a relaxzing space very VERY stressful. We took our drinks inside and I happened to comment in my best(?) Italian that the children were beng too noisey...some minutes later the family came inside...and I thought we were going to ahve to move again, but they went out of the hotel altogether! Unfortunately, we were not able to move so quickly the next morning at breakfast, where there was the same family creating havoc in the breakfast area! Next time we will ahve to fnd a hotel which is ”Adults Only”...Being a father of two (now grown-up) children, we were constantly on alert so that our kids didn'6t cause disruption to anyone else around us...That - however - doesn't seem to be the ”European way”! Location-wise was amazing, right on the harbour quaryside. The hotel is in the city center, about 9 minutes walk from Brignole train station. The hotel is well decorated and clean, with modern decoration. The door is difficult to find, and the front desk is on the top floor of the building.

This hotel lies north of Genoa city. Approximately 15-20 minutes of a boredom drive through the gutters of the city. A nice surprise when you see the hotel coming up uphill. Nice and convenient parking behind the hotel. The staff is very very friendly. Check-in' went quick. Elevators are slow. Wi-Fi is adequate. Room coverage is ok. The room itself is clean, basic+ and small-medium sized. Bed is ok, but I think the matrasses could be replaced. There is a modern and spacious gym in the hotel with great Technogym equipment. The breakfast is good to perfect and the staff serving and maintaining it is the best I had since a long time. I had a wonderful (business) stay at this hotel and will return. The even have electric car chargers, which is a plus!
