The hotel is located close to the bus terminal and there is a konzum right next to it, so it was easy to buy things. The facilities are well-equipped and the breakfast was good. However, the system check was not done well, so it took some time to confirm when checking out.

Modern, clean hotel offering free parking and breakfast included in the rate. Rooms are modern with large bathroom. Beds and pillows comfortable. Reception ate friendly as ate the staff. Well stocked bar with reasonably priced drinks. Hotel has a sauna, small gym and spa offering the usual services at a good affordable price. Just a few minutes walk into main town with various shops, bars, cafés etc.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Turist in Varazdin, which was super clean and comfortable. Everyone was very helpful, particularly Darko who served us our evening meal. I volunteered in a refugee camp in Varazdin in 1998 and have always wanted to return. Darko was very knowledgeable about the area and also the local wine. If we ever return to Varazdin we will certainly stay at hotel Turist. Thank you. Gill & Graeme Leech

Stayed here for one night. My wife and I took my elderly father to Varazdin and pick this hotel for the value. Aside from the great location, the hotel has a very attractive fit out having been recently refurbished. We stayed in a family room and I was so surprised with the layout. It was great, a seperate room for my father. The staff were so friendly and helpful. With breakfast included in the price it only further enhanced the value…but, the most amazing spa experience was available free to guests. Highly recommend it.

I was very dubious about this hotel, having read the (only) other review. But our stay at Turist hotel was close to perfection : very nice, large room and bathroom - contemporary and clean. Breakfast was good and varied, but could do hot food being…hot. The only downside I experienced was with the very slow check-out in the morning : 1 staff only, and her colleagues in the room behind reception did not seem eager to come out and help - shame.

Extremly disappointed with accomodation and service. Old part of hotel was terrible it was extremly hot, air co was out of service, their staff could not fix it, or offer us other room or anything. Humid was high and in our room temperature was just rising. On the reception they only said sorry but could not fix anything, our phone was also out service. Would not recommend staying.
