"From outside hotel looks fine. They have two buildings and I got room in other building. I think the main building probably would have better rooms but in other building it looks that renovation is still going on.
Pros:
location is good. Assi Ghat is at 2-3 mins walking distance.
You can find eatery joints nearby.
Electric kettle is available in the room.
Room which I got was spacious and had balcony as well.
Cons:
I had booked room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Room was spacious, had bed, sofa and a setti. But bed was not sufficient to accomodate all 4 though when i booked room vis make my trip, it showed msg that bed is sufficient for 4 PPL but it wasn't the case.
Towels were provided for 2 only and not for 4.
No toiletries except for a toilet soap.
No hand towel. Maybe not a normal for a three star hotel.
Room interior looked old and rough and not appealing. There was a nail on side of double bed. Luckily, we spotted it else might have hurt kids."
"The hotel location is very good. Room service is poor. Restaurant service is also poor due to the shortage of staff. Staff is not properly trained. Training is required. The hotel does not have a shaving kit, comb, toothpaste with brush.etc."

"Varanasi is definitely the worst tourist sacred place in the world. All the houses are shabby, the streets are full of cattle, the roads are shit, and the bodies are burning by the Ganges! !! This hotel is relatively clean, with a small garden"
"It's clean and the food is fine, but there's no hot water.
It's far from the Ganges River, but it's nice and peaceful. The service and hospitality at the front desk was very good. Other than the hot water, there were no problems!"
"A perfect exmale of value for money stay. The hotel is right next to galaxy hospital. Was super convenient for me as i had to visit my relative admitted"
"The overall hotel is not bad, in Varanasi is a cost-effective hotel, the room is clean, the location is OK, not far from the various attractions, the only bad thing is that the waiter level is worrying, the instant noodles in the front desk, actually I do not know The situation opened up."

NNandiniSimply Wow!
My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby.
Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people.
I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.
GGuest UserThe ambience, the comfort, the food, the location. Everything was perfect with total sync with money charged. I would like to stay again and again at this property. Staffs were polite and prompt. Smooth check-in and check-out. Pool was well maintained. Room size was ok. Fabric used in room was skin friendly. Room service was excellent. Lobby was found adequately placed furniture and was enough space to accommodate guests comfortably.
BBartZelfNice place to stay in the bustling city of Varanasi, hotel is clean and all necessary amenities provide an excellent place to take a rest from the city that is pretty crazy. It is about four kilometers from the river Ganges. Breakfast is fine but not very extended, meals for dinner were good price wise.
The only issue we had was the way too loud noise of the air ventilation in the shower that took a lot of drama before it was turned off, a request that I had to repeat three out of four nights. Overall I would recommend this place though, it's professional and decent and an oasis compared to what you'll encounter once you get onto the streets.
DdannygoodboyIn Wanarasi, you must choose the best hotel to stay in, because it is isolated from the noise, noise, and other things that make your hair tingle! Only when you return to the hotel will you completely relax and enjoy the clean rooms and dining! The hotel is very large, the whole is surrounded by its own park! The room was very clean and tidy, the service was very welcoming and polite, and the security was checked twice after entering the door, which was very safe! The point is that you will feel it personally, here is like heaven, and Wanarasi outside is like a magical world! I feel worth staying!
PPANCHALThe hotel's ambiance is a perfect blend of modern luxury and classic charm. The lobby is tastefully decorated, with plush furniture and an inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the interior design creates a sense of comfort and sophistication.
My room was nothing short of spectacular. The attention to cleanliness was evident, and the room was well-appointed with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room's design showcased a thoughtful mix of contemporary style and practical functionality.
IimsmoothassilkI didn't want to get sick in India so I booked a proper hotel. The amenities were good, but I don't know if it's worthy of the Hilton brand because they didn't prepare an extra bed even though I requested one, and they never delivered extra towels even though I asked for them.
史史It should be a local hotel chain brand in India. Some are old, the windows are floor-sealed, the taste is large, the breakfast is average, and the service is good. The surrounding environment of the hotel is as dirty and messy as other cities in India, and the traffic jam is also serious. Fortunately, it is not too far from the famous Ganges Dasawamedo River Altar and Shiva Golden Temple, and the taxi is only 5 yuan.
PPabloMDwivedi Hotels Palace on Steps offers a mixed experience. The room was basic but stuffy and smelly, with unpleasant odors from the area below the windows. The hotel is slightly dated, yet the staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is fantastic, close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, where you can enjoy a vibrant evening ceremony. The view from the room overlooking the river is breathtaking. Highly recommend dining at Aadha-Aadha Café for clean, tasty, and affordable meals. The rooftop ambiance is lovely. Mona Lisa Café is another great nearby option. Overall, a good stay for its location and views, despite minor issues.
GGuest UserOverall good. Located on main road towards Kashi Vishwanath temple (around 1 km). Food was good, home type. Basic amenities, good enough. We received good services. All staff were kind, polite & very helpful especially Mr Ashish who guided us properly throughout our stay there.
There is a scope of improvement in maintaining cleanliness. However, overall it was okay as we had visited during busy days. Prices are bit high was due to the auspicious time.
