Great hotel! Booked a sea view room, room 4309, the beach faces the golf course. The room was ok, nothing special, but very comfortable, clean, with balcony terrace. My stay was in early November 2021, when the country of Cuba was just starting to reopen for tourism. There are not many tourists, but there are already many tourists, especially from Russia and Canada. Check-in was fairly quick, check-out was quick too, not being asked to wait. I really like the beach in the hotel yard, the beach is clean, well maintained and the sand is beautiful. The facilities for sunbathing are also good. Also, I love the swimming pool, it's not huge but in good condition, great for swimming or relaxing. Now, about the food: I would rate it a 9 out of 10 for a hotel in Cuba and a 7.5 for international. I was amazed by the all you can eat service, very complete and delicious, very special for the Cuban situation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I only stayed one night. Reservé una hahahación con vista al mar y obtuve la hahabitación 4309 con vista a la playa frente al campo de Golf. Lahabacion están bien, special tones, pero muy cómodo, limpia y tiene balcón terraza. El tiempo que estuve, a principios de noviembre de 2021, cuando el Cuba apenas comenzaba a reabrir el turismo. El número de turistas no es demasiado, pero ya hay muchos turistas, especialmente de Russia y Canada. El proceso de registro es bastante rápido y el proceso de salida es muy rápido, sin necesidad de esperar. Me gusta mucho la playa a la que se puede acceder directamente desde el patio del hotel, la playa está limpia y bien cuidada, hermosa arena blanca. Las instalaciones para tomar el sol tambien son muy buenas. Además, disfruté de la piscina, que no es muy grande pero está en buenas condiciones y es agradable para nadar o simplemente para relajarme. Sobre la comida: para un hotel en Cuba, lo califico con un 9 sobre 10 y para la clase internacional le doy un 7.5. Me sorprendió el servicio de todo lo que puedas comer, que fue bastante completo y delicioso, muy especial para las condiciones cubanas. Los empleados son muy amables y están felices de ayudar. Desafortunadamente me quedé solo 1 noche. Espero volver pronto para quedarme aquí. Saludos de ciudadanos indonesios que trabajar al este de Cuba.

Good meal, delicious. The environment is very beautiful, the place is very big, but the distance from room to restaurant is relatively long. The lobby service's laughter is not natural enough. Food is not bad.

No spaces with air conditioning for relaxing at the bar. The only space with air conditioning is at the main restaurant. At the beach you don’t have a close bar. Hard to have a cold drink at the beach. The plastic glasses at the beach are to small to take any drink at the beach. The food at the restaurant is good and varied. The beach and the water are amazing!

Good resort, clean and modern. Theres restaurants, bars, small shops, pools and its on the beach. The rooms are modern, clean and big. A bus is available for free to go to Varadero city on a daily basis, multiple times. The people are approachable and helpful, very lovely people. The food is diverse, meat and veggies. Tasty vegetables and fruits.

I just came back from a week stay at Muthu and my overall experience was great ! The staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing , everyone of them are super friendly and they make you feel like at home , specially Don Roberto at the buffet , Don Diago and Annais at the bar , Carlos at the coffe bar , Yohan with the entertainment crew and of course the amazing Lizandra with PR . I would totally recommend this place to stay in Varadero with your family or alone , you will always feel safe and welcomed. The food was good at least for me , we had rice, pasta , beans , lots of salads and delicious food , ice cream , bread , cheese, ham , eggs fro breakfast , chicken , pork and on the international restaurant you can get lobster and wine . The shows at night are so much fun for the whole family . I can’t wait to be back next year for another amazing week at Muthu ❤️

It was a different experience, I always travel with my family but this time I decided to go to rest and be alone with my partner, which was a bit difficult for me due to different episodes I had at the hotel. As for the service of the waitresses and shop assistants, it is very good, they really make an effort to talk to the clients and make them feel like family, the cleaning is quite good, but I must say that in terms of the food it leaves a lot to be desired, most of the Cold times, without dressings to season salads or vegetables, hot juices and without sugar, there was not a day when there was butter, mayonnaise, or any other sauce to accompany food or breakfast. There is no small oven to heat a toast or a piece of bread, the lousy presentation, if I am honest there was not a day that we ate well and that is mainly due to the little management by the managers, the rather superficial supervision and the justification with all the problems that there are right now in Cuba. Serving a hot dish or a cold juice goes beyond the scarcity that there may be. The towel service for the pool practically does not work, we were waiting all day to be able to get the towels and be able to bathe, when we complained the towels appeared immediately, Unfortunately they tend to justify what was wrong with all the economic problems that exist and that we all know. You pay for a 4-star hotel and receive 2-star service to a great extent.

The hotel is fine, with the effects of old age, such as the air conditioning control in some rooms does not work, the food is not varied, but acceptable according to the situation in the country, which is really annoying, it is that there is no air conditioning in the hotel, except in the rooms and in the restaurant, in the middle of summer the temperature makes the environment stifling. All the staff go out of their way to serve you, very friendly and very helpful, the lady who has quality care, very concerned and very receptive, and willing to solve things. Really, if at some point something made me forget about the heat, it was everyone's treatment of it.

Ctrip has set up a Be Live all-inclusive hotel, with daily buffets and a wide variety. In addition to the buffet, you can also order dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant, but book in advance. Very competent managers, they speak Russian well, they help with “unsolvable” issues, and in general I have very warm impressions from them. Delicious ice cream and cocktails, depending on the season they serve fish and seafood. February turned out to be off season. There was fish, but not super often. Grill zone - very good meat. And beef and pork and chicken. Pineapples and papaya. Of course the ocean!!!! The biggest plus. That's why we flew for 14 hours. We walked the entire shore - our part of the beach turned out to be the best in our opinion. Wide shore, sun loungers do not stack on top of each other. Quiet. Now about the negative))) First we checked into a bungalow (southern part of the hotel). Dark, humid, bad air conditioning, poor cleaning. Considering that they left chocolates and money, not very good. The bathroom floors were not washed at all. One day they took away a towel and didn’t bring any... any... at all. Neither for arms, nor for legs. They asked us to move to the main building closer to the ocean. There the situation has completely changed. There were elephants on the bed, and boats were flying. 9!!! Towels for two. Although there were 4 in the bungalow (as it turned out, we were given a foot towel as the main towel in the bungalow). Clean, bright, good air conditioning and views of the pool and ocean. Now the tips: - if you are not given something, demand and ask. Most likely they will forget, you need to remind them. - take a towel with you (at least a small one). Because we were given a towel for 2 days at the beach. - You can take your own mug, but disposable glasses were thrown away in front of us. - take plenty of sunscreen. They burned out in the first days. - the most season is from June to November. December - March winds can be strong. Ideal month - October - leave a tip. Locals will be happy with chocolates and primitive medicines (no-shpa, paracetamol, spazgan), but it’s not difficult for us In general, except for the moment of relocation and problems with the towel, everything was excellent. 👍
