Melia Internacional Varadero

At the Level the experience is unforgettable! I was upgraded my last few days and it’s such a big difference! The rooms, the service, the a la carte restaurant… all exquisite!!! I would recommend the Melia Internacional Level 100%!! Can’t wait to come back! ️❤️

Had a wonderful dinner with my family at Rumba restaurant. There were diverse selections to choose from and even my picky eaters found plenty of options. Yanai and Lauren were serving us ,and the service was amazing. They were constantly refilling our water and drinks and inquiring if we needed anything else.

This was my second time to this hotel and our stay was wonderful! Very high level of service, friendly workers. The food was pretty good relatively to Cuba, great variety at the buffets. Great entertainment programs every night, live music on the pool balcony at morning and evening times. The hotel was very clean and maintained well. Few disappointments- the room we were given at first was on the far end of the floor and it was facing a loud workshop. The shower had a bath tub that was not comfortable to get in and out of. Keep that in mind, it might not be suitable for seniors or little kids. Had to switch rooms, luckily we were given a much better room. TV had some signal issues. a final comment is about the shows- the hotel has a show every night but they never started on a timely manner… for someone who was tired from running around all day, not so great. Besides that- will be back at this hotel for sure! A special thanks few people who made our stay extra special: Horhe who was our tour guide on our trip to Havana, very knowledgeable and kind! Ayrovis at the towel exchange, he is so kind and friendly, always greeting you with a smile! Yandry, sweet Lazarro and the amazing Josue, the best bar servers at the res bar! Maydelis and dainarys at the big buffet, so sweet welcoming and kind! And Yulianella and Soley at front desk who were so helpful!

We travelled March 26 to April 2nd 2025. Prior to our arrival I was in contact with the hotel regarding our stay with them. Upon arrival we were surprised and escorted by golf cart to the Adult Section only were we were warmly greeted and introduced to the Guest Services Manager Ivan (please forgive us if we misspelled your name) who was absolutely charming and made us feel welcomed and at home. Upon arriving in our room we were overwhelmed by the room assigned to us. It was beyond our belief of beauty, space, comfort, view, cleanliness of this Royal Suite. Super comfortable bed, lots of towels, extra pillows and hot water. The panoramic ocean view from the balcony was outstanding with amazing sunsets. The lobby was stunning with lots of gathering spaces with couches, chairs, bar seating areas. Every evening we had the pleasure of listening to a performer playing beautiful music on a Baby Grand Piano. At the bar in the lobby you could always find staff with warm greetings serving coffee, tea, soft drinks, alcohol (huge variety of liquor) and beer. The private pool area for the Adult Only Section is fantastic, clean and plenty of loungers for guests with shade if needed. There is also an outdoor restaurant at the pool where you can get hot dogs, fries, pizza, coffee beverages (non alcohol or with alcohol) Not sure of start time but closes at 6:00pm so they can set up for supper service. Food….wow absolutely no complaints in that area. Great taste, done to perfection, with amazing plate presentation. To date we have eaten at all the restaurants and enjoyed every one of them. My opinion I am not sure why people say it was no good. Honestly as they don’t spoil the food with numerous spices you actually get to taste the meat, vegetables, rice etc as it should be. We as a society have been so used to covering up the real taste of food that we have forgotten what it really tastes like. The beach bar (hot BBQ lunch served) is truly amazing with a choice of chicken, pork or salmon. Usually served with rice, vegetables (varies everyday) and salad (varies everyday) on one side and the other you can get all drinks. Staff are super funny, professional and treat everyone as family with kindness and respect. The beach is a thing of beauty with soft white sand, turquoise water and a bar server that comes along to ensure you don’t get dehydrated and brings you drinks with a smile. Beach chairs are very comfortable with plenty to go around. No need to fight to try and find them. Beach attendants are very attentive to your needs and will set you up upon arrival at the beach. Thank you to all the staff in the front line to the back of the kitchen, cleaning, gardening. We really appreciate all the hard work you do. The hotel would not be what it is today if you weren’t there doing a phenomenal job There are 3 staff members that have gone above and beyond their duties while we were there and we would like to give them our version of

Great location right on the Caribbean Sea and just 10 minutes from Varadero city. The hotel is well-organized with plenty of bars and restaurants, though it could use some restoration. Buffet food was excellent — much better than the à la carte options. The beach is beautiful and clean, but the sunbeds and umbrellas are worn out. The pool is warm and crowded but in decent condition. Biggest downside was the room (we had a superior sea view) — very dated furniture, musty smell, some bugs, and not very clean despite daily housekeeping. Thankfully, the A/C worked great. The staff was amazing — super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
