Too old. Although they have tried their best to maintain it, it is really unacceptable. The faucet is almost falling apart but they haven't changed it. The air conditioner is too noisy. The buffet is too simple and the fish is not fresh. The front desk service is too bad. They said that the card for changing beach towels should be returned. Shouldn't you leave the card at the service desk to change towels? Deduct 4 US dollars! Use the safe in the room for 2 US dollars a day, which sounds fresh! VISA cards are sanctioned and cannot be swiped, and they don't accept cash! Too stubborn, left a few US dollars and turned around and left, I won't come again

A good, solid chain hotel, with good food and an excellent beach. I booked and received a bungalow - spacious and cozy, with a terrace and in a picturesque corner of the hotel complex. I don’t give the highest ratings due to the fact that everything is a little worn out, and there are problems with the operation of the equipment in the room; not everything worked perfectly and correctly (hair dryer, air conditioning control panel and a couple of light bulbs were not on). But overall, a very solid four!

First Time in the Veradero Peninsula, It was my first time in Varadero and I always thought that it was a small little town with a beautiful beach. This hotel was able to bring the expectations of Varadero to a higher level. The Hotel had one the best beach because it’s in the middle of the peninsula and you’re able to walk for miles to the north and miles to the south. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly. The customer care representative Jania was awesome. They made our stay one of best stays in this beautiful country. The entertainment was always on, at the pool and at the beach . The night shows were supreme. I am looking forward to my next possible time to make it to this hotel.

5/5 . I loved eveything about the place. Everyone should come here The beach was so nice. Julio, Daylin, Wendy, kenia, mayelin were amazing. The prices are good and I encourage everyone to come. Food is too much and we happily got fat eating all the delicious food

My wife and I visited the Tainos from Chicago last month for two weeks, we researched several hotels on the peninsula and decided to return for our third stay at the Tainos. The people are the reason we returned. We have stayed at other hotels in Cuba, but none have people that compare to those at the Tainos. Twelve years ago was our last stay and Fernando is as good as he was always one hundred percent! The entertainment team is why we return, Rosario, Yordan, Saine, Evis, Yoandry, and the entire team, THANK YOU, you made our trip perfect!!!! We attended the Tropicana in Habana and I will say the performers at the Tainos perform with infinitely more passion. Another reason is the beach, walking into the ocean is like walking on carpet, as far as you want to go, and with a few nearby hotels closing the beach feels chill and remote. There are more than enough chairs every day. And a very cool bartender at the beach bar! The food is fine, it is Cuba and there are days when they may not have everything but we always have a good meal. I noticed some complaints about the lack of certain items, maybe Cuba is not for you, be a traveler, not a tourist, and find the good wherever you travel. As far as the liquor, I go for the rum, and there are plenty of other choices. I also want to mention Yudel and Raisel, the bartenders at Las Palmas, they are great! Also would like to mention Yania, the girl in the blue in the lobby, she always had the answer and we appreciated her as we did all of the front desk agents! Late night snack, Chef William made a better burger than I have had anywhere in Cuba and beyond, and he made good company! This is only a short list of names I remember, but all employees at the Tainos should be commended! Sorry if we missed someone.

First time at this resort,I came with my wife,we had an amazing experience we are very happy with the staff,place is clean and rooms are wonderfully,we stayed at 2203.We made lost of new friends.we will highly recommend this facility,thanks to Jania and reception Staff

This resort is very lovely! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is good, especially the two a La Carte restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable (we stayed in one of the bungalows), and the beach is beautiful! The manager of the hotel, Jania, gave us really good recommendations for personalized tours which were cheaper and a much better experience than the large group tours offered by Sunwing etc. We would definitely stay here again!
